Moon and Makendo: Jeditie's Hobby [Episode 142539]

by Disruptor

Jedite was looking through computer archives of the Spirit Police. He decided to bring up the Sailor Senshi. He was surprised that there was so little information on the Senshi. Usagi's picture was there, but no others. Trying a different tack, he tried searching under Spirit Hunters. The Sailor Senshi was still as sparse as usual, but three new names were added: Mai Tsurugino AKA Makendo, Hikari Tsurugino AKA Makendo 2, and Makenkah.

"This looks interesting," Jedite thought.

He brought up their abilities and read what each was capable of doing. He stared at the screen in shock, as he brought up each of their cases and how they were handled. He grimaced, as he thought back to his first battle with Sailor Moon.

"I was very lucky I got Sailor Moon instead of Mai. I wouldn't have had a chance to make up for my mistakes, if I faced Mai."

Jedite pulled up the file on the cyborg Makenkah. The former Dark General gave an amused chuckle, when he found out how Makenkah came about. Some mad scientist had turned Makenkah into a cyborg to try and conquer both the human and spirit worlds. Makenkah did not want to be turned into a cyborg and just wanted his old body back.

Sitting back, Jedite thought, "Hopefully Sailor Saturn can return my friends from their state. Princess Serenity has a greater compassion than what she used to. I truly believe that if she knew we were being controlled, she would have tried to free us."

Shutting down the computer, he stood up and headed for the Makendo Empowerment room. He passed by where the bags filled with the Moon armory were and noticed something glinting. Curious, he knelt down and picked it up.

"An unfinished transformation wand. Doro must have tossed it in the bag and it fell out," Jeditie thought, as he turned it over in his hand. "Doro has chosen Naru to receive the new Makendo device. I can't connect this to the sun; it would burn it out. I'll just save this for now. We might need to use it to replace one of those two"

Jedite put the pen in his pocket and continued on his way. He soon arrived at the Makendo Empowerment room. As he entered, he saw Doro working with some controls.

"Hello, Jedite. Did you enjoy your research?" Doro asked.

"I think so. It was very enlightening. I hope I'm not too late in seeing you build the next Makendo uniform."

"No," Doro said, shaking his head. "Is this more than idle curiosity?"

"Actually, yes. Back when I was a Dark General, I designed Youma to drain energy and fight the Sailor Senshi. Before I was brainwashed by Beryl, I did design some minor magical armor for my troops to help them fight."

Doro smiled in understanding. "Ah. A professional interest. I can see why something like this would be of great interest to you. Thinking about designing your own magical girl?"

Jedite smiled. "Well, maybe. It would go part way into making up for what I did while being controlled."

Checking the gauges, Dodo said, "It'll be a while before the elements and weapons are suitably charged to begin designing a uniform. We might as well take care of something else."

The two men left the Spirit Police Headquarters and entered the Human World near a mountain home. The sun was an hour above the horizon and the sounds of combat reached their ears. Doro calmly headed towards the sound, while Jedite mentally prepared some magic. Jedite's eyes widened as he saw two girls engaged in a fight that had no anger involved in it. Doro floated towards the two girls, who stopped their fight.

"Hikai-san. Mai-san. This is Jedite former Dark General of Beryl's forces. He has been purged of the mind control magic that was controlling him. Jedite the older girl is Mai Tsurugino and the younger one is her sister Hikari."

The two girls bowed and said in unison, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Jedite."

"Thank you. If you don't mind, why were the two of you fighting?" Jedite said, somewhat hesitantly

Mai replied, "Hikari and I were practicing out martial arts. We've been doing this since four in the morning. Doro, what time is it?"

Doro looked at a pocket watch. "It is eight-thirty. Where's Usagi?"

"Still asleep. He woke up about an hour ago and then went back to bed, after seeing it was just the two of us practicing," Hikari replied.

"I'm up," came a somewhat bleary voice from the direction of the house.

All four turned and saw a sleepy looking Usagi, standing in the doorway. She waved at Doro and then finally registered the presence of Jedite. Her eyes widened in fear, as sleep vanished from her eyes.

"Jedite?" Usagi whispered.

"He's been freed of being brainwashed, Usagi. Do you recall how Mamoru acted when Beryl brainwashed him? The brainwashing just had longer to work on the Four Generals."

Usagi bowed her head and let the tears fall. "I just wish I had known the truth before

"Princess, we would have wanted you to kill us. Beryl is the one to blame for our battles, not you. There's a chicane that Sailor Saturn will be able to revive them from the gemstones," Jedite said.

"No! She won't have the chance," Usagi stated. "I'm doing it now."

Jedite looked scared. "Princess, if you use the Gizinshou, you'll die."

Usagi replied, "I've been using the Gizinshou to power my transformation to Sailor Moon. I've gotten stronger, but I wasn't going to do it on my own."

"What do you mean?" Doro asked, intrigued.

"If Jedite, Mai and Hikari allow me to borrow some of their strength, then that should be enough power to revive the remaining three without putting my life in danger," Usagi replied.

"You can revive the dead? Can you bring back our parents?" Hikari asked hopefully.

"Hikari, shush," Mai said. "This is a special circumstance regarding the Four Generals. They have something to be brought back from, and if I recall what Doro said to me, their spirits haven't moved on yet and are haunting gemstones. The bodies of our parents were cremated."

Hikari pouted a bit. "I'm sorry, Usagi. I just miss our parents so much at times."

Usagi nodded. "That's all right Hikari. I'd be hoping as well in your circumstances."

"Let's get going," Mai said. "The faster we take care of it, the faster it will be done."

The five returned to Spirit Police headquarters and went to the Restoration Room. Doro took the three gemstones and led the group to a large empty room. He left and returned with three blankets. He put each stone on the ground and covered it with one of the blankets, leaving floorspace between the covers. The other four looked at him curiously, but didn't say a thing. Usagi pulled out the Silver Crystal and activated it. As she did so, Hikari and Mai put their right hands on Usagi's left shoulder. Jedite placed his left hand on Usagi's right shoulder. Feeling the trio giving her strength, she focused her thoughts on the Gizinshou. A silvery light bathed the area. The light grew brighter in an ever-increasing speed. There was a sudden flash of white lights that forced all five to close their eyes for a moment. When the spots had cleared from her eyes, Usagi slumped to her knees in relief and joy. Lying on the ground, under the covers were the three slain Dark Generals.

"They should be purged of Beryl's influence now. I think you three girls should leave for the moment, while Jedite and I deal with this."

As the three girls turned to Doro, Mai asked, "Why should we leave?"

A voice yelled, "Where's our clothes?!"

The three girls' faces turned crimson, as they rushed out the door. Laughing silently, Doro turned to the three revived generals.

"Greetings. I am Spirit Detective Doro. I am sure you three know Jedite. I'll explain everything, and then we'll get you some clothes.

Outside the room, the three girls were still blushing furiously.

"At least we know why Doro put those blankets down," Hikari said.

"Let's get back home," Mai said.

"You can open portals to the Spirit World?" Usagi asked.

Mai replied, "Limited, but yes."
