Not that she wouldn't have plenty of reason to be concerned. After all, natural formations were not semi-spherical in shape, even for a cave. Nor were they bearing floors smoothed out to the flatness of a sheet of glass. This was not a simple chamber, but almost a place made to inspire awe and respect.
And all of it was apparently there for a belt. She wasn't quite sure why that was, but it was obviously important. Otherwise they wouldn't have kept it like this. Plus, it was not a normal belt, as it was oddly thick, and wide, with a sizable buckle with something red in the middle. It was large and not the sort of thing that one would normally wear, but then she got the feeling that it was not a normal item by any stretch of the imagination.
But, even as she lifted it from its pedestal and hefted it, she heard the sounds of screams coming from back where she'd come. They had to be loud, at least telling by the fact that they were coming down this far. That meant that something big was going on, and she raced back up the way she came to see what was happening.

Luckily, a thrown spatula did add another strike against the monster, as Ukyo had not left. She tried to fight, but the thing was quick, and not quite easy to injure. So she apparently was trying to draw it in, using her thrown weapons to fight.
Akane was not about to let her do it all by herself, and so she decided to join in... until she felt the belt that she was still holding bump into a wall. At that moment, she realized that she hadn't put it down, and was still carrying it around. She couldn't go back to put it away, as her friend would get hurt, but she couldn't keep it in her hand, as that would hobble herself just when she didn't need it. As a result, there was only one choice.
Opening up the catch, she slipped it around her waist, and fastened it so that she could hold it that way, and leave herself still able to fight.
Only, when she jabbed the buckle once to make it secure, she found that her hand had a bit of a difference to it.
Then a rush of energy ran through her, and made her feel like lightning was sliding up her body to wrap around it.
Such a sensation didn't seem too far fetched when she stopped and looked, to see that she was now clad in some sort of:
