"Gee thanks. My heart's all a flutter." It actually was, but more for the sight of a well muscled chest, but she wasn't ready to admit it.
"Sorry, but I'm not used to waking up with attractive girls in the morning."
"Well, I'm sure that none of what's been going is what anyone's used to."
"You got me there."
"Goody. It might be a good idea to tell each other our names about now."
"Yeah. My name's Terry Bogard."
"Nabiki Tendo. Pleased to meet you," said the brunette as she extended a hand.
Following her sense of whimsy, he took the hand and shook it. "nice to meet you too."
"Good, now we know who we are."
"Guess so."
"Um... Mister Bogard? Terry?"
"Hmmm..?"
"I'd like my hand back."
"Oh! Sorry."
Nabiki pulled back the released hand and smirked at him. "You must not be used to things like that."
"Nah. I'm usually more involved with my journey."
"Journey to where?"
"To improve my skills as a martial artist," he replied was rewarded by a rolling of her eyes to the cieling. "What?"
"If it isn't one martial artist it's another. My father, sister and her fiance are martial artists. Not to mention their 'friends', 'love intrests' and challengers."
"And what do you do?"
"Other than staying out of the way? I'm a high school student, among other things..."
"Like what?"
"A little of this, a little of that. Nothing much."
"I see..." More like he didn't, but he was willing to let it slide for the moment.
"So what brings you to our city of lust?"
He smiled slightly. "A bunch of fighters I know, including my brother and his girlfriend were having a party to remince about old times. Sort of a get together. You?"
"Trying to get away from my sister."
"Huh?"
"Let's just say that she had a way that she thought that we could get by the... situation and I wasn't too keen on it."
"Oh boy..."
"Exactly. But then I found you..."
"Yeah well... I guess it was good luck then."
"Very, in my case. I was ready to boff just about any one."
"And you chose me?"
"You don't have to make it sound like it's so horrible."
"It's not. But I've not always been... lucky where the opposite sex has been concerned."
"Really?" asked the middle Tendo as the hand he'd held stroked his cheek.
Throat tightning slightly form the memories, he looked down, but that wasn't such a good idea since it brought his line of sight to her sheet covered bosom. He could remember the feel and weight of those firm orbs. "It's happened."
She leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I'm sure that I'm not going to just up and leave right now."
"That's not what I'm afraid of."
"Is that so? Well then what are you afraid of?"
"You see... I have..," began Terry, just as their mouths brushed against each other, in what became a soft and tender kiss. It grew harder and he pulled her to him. And as their mouths began a clear remebrance of the night before,:
