"I'm sorry about the soup this morning," Kasumi said, making conversation for the sake of filling the uncomfortable silence.
"I like it rough an..." Nabiki stopped and flushed brightly. "That's fine Kasumi."
The middle Tendo's eyes scanned back and forth, looking to see if anyone noticed what she saw as a slip of the tongue.
"Yeah, I can bend pretty easy." Ranma winced as she finished talking and quickly continued. "Do you got any honey?"
Kasumi flushed brightly and momentarily covered her chest. She wasn't quite certain why, but then saw the jar of honey on the table.
"Oh!" she said. "Of course! Here you go!"
She almost frantically passed Ranma, an equally nervous girl, the honey and buried herself in her dinner again.
Akane quietly chewed on her lip, face brilliant red, and tried to avoid looking anywhere but at her food.
