"Ah," a wizened, ancient voice interrupted suddenly, causing Ranma to stiffen in every way except the one Ukyou wanted, "missed a spot behind the ears you have. Scrub again, you must."
Ranma made a panicked coughing choke, and looked for a moment like he was going to try and explain away the situation.... But he didn't. Hanging his head and sighing, he asked, "Have I failed you, Master?"
"No," Yoda said after a moment, appearing at the bathroom entrance, and seemingly indifferent to the fact that both Ukyou and Ranma were naked. "Forbidden were the Jedi to know love, once. To the dark side, we thought emotions led.
"After centuries, learned from our mistakes we have. Filled with the force, is a noble heart. Know true love you can. Friends, you must also make. Allies ... you may need."
Trying to distract himself from the situation at hand, Ranma managed to get the relatively stunned Ukyou turned around, and began scrubbing her back, pausing to clean behind his ears. "But Master, what if ... that love is for someone who has darkness within them?"
"Without danger, this path is not," Yoda admitted. "But only an illusion am I; real people must you also know."
"Like me!" Ukyou enthused. "So we get to get lots closer!"
"Er.... Yes. Is that it?" Ranma asked, turning to look at Yoda, and not quite managing to avoid a double-armful of Ukyou as she squirmed her way into his lap.
"Unschooled and young your mind is yet," Yoda sighed. "Learn more as you grow, you will. Always a part of your life, this friend will be. Her aura and your force powers will bring you that much closer."
"I like this!" Ukyou cheered, kissing Ranma once on the cheek.
He blushed a bright red, and tried to master the emotion before it carried him away. Joy was fine and good, but he needed to make sure his emotions didn't cause him to slip to the dark side. "Isn't it ... dangerous?" Ranma squeaked.
"Learn to recognize your lighter emotions you must," Yoda said. "Control them you will."
"So ... what should I do now?"
