Jedi Knight 1/2: A Pineapple Twist [Episode 145480]

by Lionheart

Principal Kuno looked out a window and down a balcony to where his daughter was playing with two of the students most resistant to his discipline. For a moment he played with a pair of shears, wondering about the possibility of getting in a good couple of haircuts when the little keikeis were off guard, but then the two girls sat down the boy and began to trade turns kissing him.

The bright, toothy smile fell off his face and he watched sadly for a minute before turning away from the window and sitting down sadly at his desk. "Ahh, my little Tate-chan and Dachi-chan, yousa not hadda mudda fo a looong time. Da Big Kahouna be gettin sad an lonely."

He sighed heavily, but the pineapple freak was not one to get depressed for long. With an instant grin, he picked up a phone and dialed a number. "Heeey brudda! Da Big Kahouna has been thinkin dot de police, they not been investigating you in a looong time. Meebe dey should get dot chance, you know? Oh? You wanna meebe give a gift so dey not haf to trouble demselves? Hokay! Da Big Kahouna be wantin sometin sweet, you know how it is. Young, but not High School, he no touchin dat! Fresh too, a pineapple dat never been opened, if you know what I mean. An he wanna be keepin her long time, she getta room an everythin, watch da pineapple trees grow, so send her packed, an dress her up nice. You know what da Big Kahouna likes. You got one already? Sweet. I'll be takin her right away. You be sendin her on over."

Principal Kuno put the phone back on its handset and laughed heartily.

Then glancing out the window, he decided to celebrate with a little haircut or two.

=====

Velvet Jones hung up his cellphone and ruefully considered that the cost of doing business. You had to pay off the government types now and then or you saw the world from a frame filled with bars. If you were lucky it was a private cell and not one filled with real freaks.

Ah well, Kasumi would've been a great money maker, but that was just the price of doing business. He gestured to the girl and she came, leaving her family and a concerned Nabiki who was the only one to notice her leave. Oh, he'd be getting that one soon!

Kasumi arrived before him, head bowed and crying, but she'd get over that. He gave her a card, saying, "You lucked out. One of the important people in town is after a friend. You fit the bill. You're going to have a nice posh setup where you only have to keep one man happy. Show up at this address and my girls will dress you up properly, then you go on to this second place. Pack your bags, you'll be staying there a long time."

Eyes downcast, tears rolling down her face, the girl asked, chocking out, "W.. who?"

Velvet Jones smiled. At least she was obedient. "Hey, tears are no problem so long as you keep them out of sight of the customer. Get em out of your system on this end before you show up. You won't be seeing me again, this pays you off, but it's bad form to let a customer see you unhappy. And anyway, once you show up you'll know the guy by his Hawaiian shirt and sunglasses."

"I understand," she bowed. "Thank you Jones-san for being so merciful. Please don't involve any of my sisters in this."

"No deal," the pimp said softly once she was out of sight, after he'd watched the distraught girl vanish outside of his restaurant. There was still Nabiki to be taken care of! And then that youngest daughter, what curves she had! No, he'd be dealing in Tendos for as long as he could arrange it.

=====

"Ow! Aw, man! This was my last shirt!" Ranma coughed, powder still in his eyes from the bag that had just exploded, covering himself and the oldest Kuno.

Principal Kuno lay unconscious at his feet, several bumps and bruises larger than the palm tree growing out of the back of his head. He'd begun the fight by throwing Ranma's laundry at them, all torn up into confetti, and during the short battle had managed several times near nicks with those shears that had ravaged Ranma's clothes, his shirt particularly.

Kodachi straightened up from where she'd bent over her father, long familiarity with this patient informing her of what she'd wanted to know. "He won't awaken for another two days, my Ranma-sama. Oh! Don't open your eyes! I'm afraid the knockout powder I used has a side effect of making your eyes quite sensitive to sun."

Ranma, still blinking through watery orbs, kept trying to focus while Ukyo asked. "Why did you throw it, then? Ranchan already had him... mostly."

"Reflex, primarily." Kodachi admitted demurely. "Never before had I someone to aid me when father or my older brother attacked inside our house, or anywhere else for that matter."

"Here, Ranchan, put these on." Ukyo handed her beloved the sunglasses their principal had been wearing.

"Indeed, Ranma-sama. Frequent exposure to this powder is why my dear father wears them." The Kuno girl agreed demurely.

"So long as we're at it, why don't you take one of his shirts as well?" Ukyo giggled. "I mean, he's to blame for you not having any, and we ARE here under disguise, to avoid people finding us or recognizing us, aren't we? Who's going to notice you in a Hawaiian shirt?"

"A most excellent idea, my Ranma-sama. Do you approve?" Kodachi asked.

"Sure, whatever." The teenaged martial artist blinked and found that the sunglasses did cut the light down to where his eyes could bear it.

Kodachi clapped her hands. "Sasuke! Bring one of my father's shirts for Ranma-sama!"
