[Episode 14553] [Episode 14553]Ukyo walked home from school, slightly worried. Ranma had been hurt fighting Kuno, who had some kind of new power. Just what they needed, the idiot got better.
Of course, that meant that right now it was impossible to try and talk to Ranma. He was obsessing over finding out how to counter Kuno's new tricks. It was annoying, but it was what made Ranma the best - he would never give up until he was dead.
Maybe not even then.
Walking into her restaurant, she smiled at Konatsu. The male Kunoichi might be hopeless when trying to cook okonomiyaki, or in anything involving money... but he sure knew how to get everything set up right. And how to draw in business...
As Ukyo prepared herself for business, she received a shock! Because in walked Ranma! Without Akane! He even winked at her! It was like something out of a dream!
She blinked. It was too good to be true, wasn't it? Even if Ranma had suddenly figured out how to defeat Kuno, he should still be completely focused on him, until after he had won. That was just the way he was. So what would he be doing here?
She still wasn't used to the new powers she held... but figured a quick peek into his mind wouldn't hurt...
Ukyo was nearly overwhelmed by the sick lust she felt from the contact. An obsession, centered on her...
Ukyo growled, and grabbed her battle spatula. (It once again flew to her hand, but she didn't even notice it.) "Tsubasa! I said stay out of my restaurant!!"
Tsubasa was surprised that his perfect disguise had fallen so soon. Something must have gone on with Ranma since the last time he was there... blast it, he knew he should have checked first...
"I said get out!!" Ukyo screamed again, slamming Tsubasa out of the Ucchans, this time. The boy came to rest in the street... and then, to Ukyo's surprise, changed! He still looked like Tsubasa, but with dark blue skin and red hair... "What the hell happened to you?" She asked.
Tsubasa shook his head and stood up, finally noticing he had reverted. "I know this looks awful!" he replied, "but it doesn't have to look like this! I can be anyone you want me to be!" He demonstrated by shifting into Ranma again, then Akane, Shampoo, Ryoga, and Kuno in short order. "See? I can, and will, be anyone you want!"
Ukyo just snorted. "I don't care, Tsubaka! I don't care who you turn yourself into! I just plain and simply don't. Want. You!!"
This time, Tsubasa growled. "Ukyo, we were meant to be together, forever! If you won't come with me, I'll take you!" He changed again...
Ukyo gulped, seeing Tsubasa turn into a reasonable facsimile of Pantyhose Taro's original cursed form. She couldn't fight that alone, powers or no powers!
Tsubasa charged Ukyo, who dodged. Tsubasa blundered into a nearby store, destroying it, but came back out no worse for wear. Ukyo then pelted him with her throwing spatulas... but even boosted by her mind, they didn't seem to do anything more than annoy him.
Ukyo became more desperate at the fight continued. One hit had destroyed her battle spatula. Another threw her into a stone wall, and knocked her a bit silly. She could only watch as Tsubasa/Taro stomped over to her and reached out to grab her...
And began screaming in pain! Suddenly, Konatsu was in front of her, and she realized from the way Tsubasa was grabbing his head that he must have done something to Tsubasa's eyes. "Run, mistress! I'll hold him off!"
Ukyo tried to clear her head and stood back up, but in that moment, a quick swipe of Tsubasa's horned head gored Konatsu.
Ukyo screamed in horror as Konatsu's body fell, and then something in her snapped. Snarling at Tsubasa, He was suddenly thrown away from the power of her mind!
Then she felt his mind again, and felt herself surround it. With a powerful blast, she felt Tsubasa's psyche crack!
Tsubasa also seemed to realize the danger, suddenly transforming into a raven. "Ukyo! You will be mine!" He screeched and then flew off.
Ukyo fell to her knees, tears streaming from her eyes. Konatsu had died for her. He, unlike Tsubasa, had been truly willing to be what she wanted - a friend. She knew he had loved her, but was willing to just be her friend instead... and now he was dead...
"Ukyo?"
Ukyo's heart nearly stopped from hearing Konatsu. Turning quickly, she saw Konatsu standing up again. In a flash, she embraced him, glad he was still alive.
Then she looked in wonder at his abdomen... She had seen Tsubasa gore him, but now there wasn't even a scratch.
Konatsu looked worried too. "Ukyo, wh...what happened to me?"
Ukyo shook her head. "I don't know, Kona-chan," she replied grimly, "but I think we need to find out..."
