"Okay," agreed Scratch, pulling a switch.
"HEY WAIT!" Akane said before she faded from view.
"That was evil," said one of the girls present.
"I'm a demon, I just work in Asgard," said Scratch with a shrug. "Besides, she can always change it later."
The Rival Relief Office, it should be noted, was in a sort of gap.
Though of Heaven, it was treated as more of a purgatory or a joke by most of those within celestial agencies.
Even Hell didn't take the RRO very seriously. While the Infernal Revenue Service had their Infernal Engine and powerful demons, and the Goddess Relief Office had their Ultimate Force and powerful goddesses, the Rival Relief Office had a crew of people, spirits, mortals, and the occasional god or demon that wasn't welcome elsewhere, and had something called the Barely Adequate Force.
The Barely Adequate Force being a probability nudger that usually had a power output somewhere on the range of your average hamster.
What the agents of the RRO relied on was their ability to scavenge different timelines for whatever they could use, their own resources and cleverness, and the ability to bend rules while trying to work for the greater good.
They didn't have the raw power of major gods and the like, but they also didn't have the sort of paperwork.
The reason that those particular forms had been given to Akane's ghost is that they had reasonable facsimilies on hand.
In another world, in another time, Akane Tendo had been placed within the body of a genetically engineered bioform tigergirl when her own body had been killed. Eventually her original body had been rebuilt and the tigergirl had been left behind.
Until now.
Sasami, the Sasami Jurai of yet another plane, had requested that form and it had been provided, and now another Akane Tendo would be able to be Tigra - the strong, swift, extension of the Art that would scare the utter yoohoo out of your typical Ranma Saotome.
Akane woke up, crossed to a mirror, took a good look at her furry striped sexy tigergirl self - one that had what were recognizably her own features - and said:
