Hours later, Kusari flew back to her gathering place: The St. Hebreke Clocktower. The Saotome Fools had left to try and talk to Kodachi, leaving her plenty of time to report.
Kusari flew in through a hole near the clock. Inside was a long hall lined with torches that glowed a deep blue color. At the end on the hall were to large, greatly-adorned thrones. A pair of shadows sat in the thrones.
A deep voice bade her to come forward.
Keeping her head bowed, Kusari proceeded toward the thrones. She respectfully kneeled before them. Shrouded in shadow were her masters, the two Great Tengu Warlocks: Garuda and Gurr.
"Report, soldier."
"It is just as you predicted, my lords. The Saotomes took pity on me and allowed me to stay in their home."
"Good. Make sure they do not become suspicious. Proceed back to the Saotome House and wait for further instructions. The Great Uprising will commence in one week. You are dismissed."
"Thank you, my lords." Bowing once more, Kusari flew away.
