"Ranma, Peorth," Kasumi said cheerfully. "You have visitors." Following behind her came the other three goddesses and someone the Neriman crowd had not yet met before.
"Belldandy!" Peorth said, then narrowed her eyes and asked cautiously as she scooted possessively near Ranma. "What are you doing here?"
"Uh, honey," Ranma said. "Are you okay?"
Urd rolled her eyes at that, trust Peorth to hold to that silly grudge of hers, especially when Belldandy was obviously so in love with Keiichi.
"Its a house-warming, Peorth," Urd.
"Well, since you don't have a house yet this is more like, 'welcome to Midgard,'" Belldandy said, handing over a large wrapped gift to Peorth.
"Oh," Peorth said, relaxing quickly as she took the box. "Thanks."
"Hello again, allow my to introduce my boyfriend Keiichi Morisato."
She gestured to the short young man with her who waved pleasantly.
"Hi," he said. "So you're Peorth's new fiance." He looked over the younger man appraisingly for a moment and with a sense of relief that Ranma easily recognized as the "one less problem for me" expression.
Ranma shrugged, one less problem for this Keiichi was a whole mess fewer problems for him. He turned to watch his wife inspecting the gift with a loving expression that she met momentarily before tearing into the gift.
