She disappeared from the Gate area to rematerialize in a small bar in Chicago. "The usual."
There were a few places like this. Nexii. The world around them might change, but they remained. The only drawback was that the clientele could be a bit strange.
The big guy behind the bar nodded once and soon an iced glass of something green was in front of her.
Okay, things had gotten a little out of hand. All right, a lot out of hand.
Setsuna nursed her drink as she considered it. Some of the possibilities hadn't been really that bad, it was just that once she'd begun using the timestorm's own forces to shift thing around she'd never known what the next one would bring. So, like someone fiddling with the television to get the picture better she'd...
...fiddled with timestream to get a better picture.
Some of the odd moments had actually been almost okay. Ranma gets thrown in the pit of cats, gets infected, taken to see a pediatrician, hits it off with the little student-girl, and so on. Kind of touching in some ways. There had been even one where he had gone to the same school as Mamoru and he'd taught the boy how to defend himself a bit better when he'd seen the future king being used as a punching bag.
Swirling the glass slightly and listening to the ice clinking against the glass, Setsuna knew this was a screwed up situation. She knew she didn't dare change it any further. She knew there were going to be problems WORSE than that timeline where Akane had seen the Senshi and through a long series of coincidences had become convinced that SHE was a Senshi. Setsuna had thought the whole timeline had been crapped out but the scene of Akane beating the royal tar out of Kunzite while yelling out fake attacks - that DVD went in her permanent collection.
She sighed and knocked the remainder of the drink back, signalling for a refill.
She might have to go explain the situation to the Senshi. Which might be difficult, since they would remember associating with:
