"I was really confused at the time. You guys seemed okay, but then just like Slade said he would Beast Boy had to tell ya all about my problem," said Terra as she and the others ran through the woods. They had been running all day and Raven was amazed at the distance they had covered. On foot no less, as Terra said flying would only make them easier to spot. "And even though everything Slade said was true, he kind of creeped me out."
Along the way Raven, decided to find out what had happen to Terra after she left. It was disturbing just how easily Slade was able to manipulate people. If Terra hadn't of ran into this 'master', she may well have joined Slade. "But, Beast Boy didn't tell us. Robin figured it out by himself. He's got very good detective skill you know."
"Oh really? I guess Slade was lying after all. Just seemed so real at the time. Not that it matters now. Like I said, I wasn't sure what to do. Wether to go back to you or join Slade, but then I meet the Master and he made the decision for me! He even gave me control of my powers and thought me about sex."
"How nice of him," said Raven. She was disterbed by how happy Terra was about what was happening to her. This master was even worse than Slade in the way he was controling Terra. Slade had merely feed her a few lines of well crafted bullshit. This master however, had given the girl what appeared to be the ultimate date rape drug. {It's going to be a mess when we snap her out of it.} "So tell me about the master."
"Oh he's a great werewolf leader. His name is..." Terra went silent as she suddenly came to a halt.
"What is it?" asked Raven. Terra didn't answer, instead she started looking in all directions and sniffing the air. Starfire and Jinx also stopped and started sniffing.
"Umm Terra?" asked Raven as she reached for the blond's shoulder. She pulled back when Terra snarled and snapped at her. The girl then went back to sniffing the air. Suddenly Terra starting howling and the other two joined in. Then all three bolted in another direction.
"Hey wait!" yelled Raven as she followed them. When she caught up with them, she wished she hadn't. The three had ambushed some of animal, a grizzle bear she guessed, and were in the process of tearing it apart. It didn't help that all the red bits looked kind of tasty. Raven once again tried to talk to them, but they just snarled and growled at her. It was as if they had all become real wolves. {What the hell is going on here?}
What Raven didn't know was that Terra's master, Brendin, had just suffered a most horrible well deserved death at hands of his numerous enemies. Unfortunately, Terra was still his thrall at the time. With Brendin's death, she had slipped into a blood lust. And since Jinx was Terra's thrall, she quickly followed suit and vise-a-versa for Starfire. Worse, unlike the first girl he had put into blood lust, neither Terra or the other girls had any guidance. Thus they were ready to tear apart every living thing in their path. It was only the fact that Raven was now a werewolf and a member of their pact, that was keeping her from being the next target.
The three then took off again in another random direction. Raven followed them while taking out her communicator. There was defenitely something wrong with them and Raven felt it was in the best interest of everyone that they be stopped NOW. "Come in Robin."
Robin's face appeared on the small device. "Raven? Is that you?"
"Yes Robin. Terra's a werewolf. She's turned me, Starfire, and Jinx into werewolves too."
"She turned starfire into WHAT!" yelled Robin, seeming as if he jumped out of the communicator.
"Into a werewolf. It isn't Terra's fault she's being controlled by another werewolf. That isn't important right now."
"What do you mean?"
"There's something wrong with them. They started acting like wild animals. We better get them under control and fast. Were in Oakland Forest headed north. I'll leave my locator on, get here as fast as you can." Putting her communicator away, Raven continued to follow the three until...
