Setsuna's New Life: There goes the planet [Episode 146648]

by HistorianoftheKais

All things considered, the Time Gates were the most important item that the Silver Millennium possessed. The Silver Crystal may be a source of almost unlimited energy, but Ranma already had items like that in abundance. The most blaring examples were S2 engines that his empire used to power the warships of his armada. No, the supreme tactical advantage of controlling time that the Time Gates had made the Gates a far more important item. In chess terms, the House of Serenity was the King, the Time Gates were the Queen, and the Silver Crystal was a bishop along with Sailor Saturn.

The Time Gates just simply had to go. Ranma wasn't tempted by the allure of changing the past thanks to that debacle with the Nanban Mirror so the Time Gates were of no use to him. In the end this logic, and his gut, stated that the Time Gates had to be destroyed.

Of course, there was the fact that he didn't know where the Time Gates were on the planet Pluto. All Ranma knew was that the Gates were somewhere on that planet. This meant only one thing: time to break out the planet-busters! Like any red-blooded guy Ranma loved watching big explosions and its tough to find an explosion bigger then a planet being blown into subatomic particles.

The A.I. calmly replied as the view screen in front of Ranma switched to a picture of Pluto, "Orders confirmed." For Ranma's viewing pleasure the A.I. had also added a dot on the screen to represent where the missile was in space. After a few seconds the missile hit the tiny planet turning it and Charon into microscopic space dust.

Ranma watched in silent satisfaction as the new micro-asteroid field started to form. He then remembered that he was on a mission and he said to the computer, "Prepare for phase 2..."
