One of which was that Sukebe had been quite concerned about the possibility of his pokegirls becoming a Frankenstein monster or supplanting the human race. Hence he'd worked with the concept as he'd run across it and eventually worked out a mechanism that he felt would keep his creations from running amok, but also from being widely abused. Unless, of course, the pokegirl was looking for a little abuse.
So each pokegirl had a minor psychic talent, able to look at a prospective partner and judge past the surface appearance. They'd be able to tell within moments of meeting one - how kind or how gentle, how rough and how forceful, how cruel and how mean - any prospective Tamer was. All it took was a look into the eyes and they could weigh the heart of the individual.
It was with a Tamer or Trainer or Master that a pokegirl's full abilities could be coaxed out. That they could attain their full capabilities and strengths was due to the bond that they'd build with a human. In this way Sukebe had hoped to avoid some of the foreseeable problems.
Unfortunately, he couldn't avoid all the problems. Sometimes bad pairings happened. Sometimes accidents happened. Sometimes things went badly for all concerned.
And sometimes some pokekit would look at a particular individual and stalk them for years as their chosen one. Sometimes more than one would do something like this.
