He didn't know if he would have been taken if he had slept as a girl, but he was really glad that he'd been male when the kidnappings had taken place.
After all, whoever the pervert in charge was, he'd gone after Miyo, who usually didn't get involved in the various messes. Heck, her involvement was probably less than what Kasumi had to handle, and that was mainly because the elder girl lived where a lot of odd things happened. Now the fortune teller had seemed to have found some tarot cards and was sitting on the floor as she tried to read them. Though she did seem to manage to keep her new bust out of the way as she did so.
Ranma wasn't quite sure which was worse, as he had two sets of girls who were apparently hanging on everything he did. In fact, he didn't know how far they would go for him, though he was certain that he didn't want to know about some things. What he did know that he wanted for them was to let them pick some other clothing. He was reasonably certain that they would agree with him that being dressed by someone who wanted to kidnap possibly thousands of girls just to make them into part of his harem was a bad thing indeed. They could like the outfits, but it might not be a terrible thing to see them in something that didn't let him see enough to fear being bashed when he wasn't thinking. Besides, there were moments where he was afraid that he was going to take a page out of Ryoga's book and faint.
But he did realize that something would have to be done. As it was, they were hiding from a guy who was taking girls from all sorts of worlds. For all he knew, Azusa Shiratori, or that Mariko girl could be somewhere nearby, waiting to be awakened. And there were plenty of other girls that were in the same situation.
The idea of someone who would have made Happosai proud getting the adoration of girls because he'd made them feel that way didn't sit well. What had started as merely a trip to get back the girls that had been taken was getting on to be more of a quest, and now he was the 'leader' of girls who apparently liked him a lot.
Just having Akane wanting to leap onto and hug him like that was going to take some getting used to, even if he had to wonder just why it made him feel the need to be on alert in simple situations.
Still, he had more to worry about than why the girls tended to eye him in that strange way that they had. It wasn't like he was a prime piece of beef from a barbecue, so that would only leave him scratching his head. So he couldn't see any reason to dwell on that, or the feelings that would bring up.
