Every so often, the little energy ball would dart closer and sear his posterior. This seemed to urge him to greater speed and recklessness.
Once Genma had leapt through a fire door and closed the heavy steel behind him. When the little "comet" turned the door red, he got worried. When a patch of red turned white, he got very worried. When the steel flowed away enough that the bright little sphere could enter - worried was no longer sufficient.
The sphere was now PINK of all colors and had little bunny ears, or so it seemed. Genma thought if something that cute killed him, he'd never live it down.
The black parts of his panda form had turned white as he realized the little thing was STILL after him. Predictably, he turned and fled.
"WAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" exclaimed the panda as he turned and fled.
Pum pum pum pum went the heartbeat-like sound of the energy ball.
Nabiki sighed and looked despondent. "Can I at least take this wig off? It weighs almost thirty pounds, you know."
"Not when you're about to be married," said Soun, "ta da!" With a magician-like flourish, he threw open the sack and drew forth a young man with a ponytail.
"Okay, he's kinda cute at least," allowed Nabiki. "Who is he?"
Soun started dragging the priest over. "What do you mean, Nabiki, this is..."
"STOP RIGHT THERE!" said a woman crackling with power as she hovered over the yard.
"I am so very out of here," said Nabiki, taking off the wig and heading inside as best she could under the layers of cloth and with the bindings she had on. "Maybe Kasumi can untie me."
"Ranma, that disguise isn't going to fool anyone," declared Soun, trying to take the mask and Ranma's clothes off so suitable groom-wear could be put on.
"HEY! I'm not anyone named 'Ranma'!" said Tenchi, really not wanting to see what was going to happen.
"I can't believe it!" said Ayeka, staring. "Worse even than a monster-woman being after my Tenchi!"
"Yeah, now he's got a middle-aged pervert guy trying to molest him," said the momentarily dumbstruck Ryoko.
"TENCHI!" declared the also newly arrived Sasami.
"Hmmmm," said Washu, beginning to scan. "Now here's a plot development I didn't foresee."
Crackle went a charge building up amongst the logs surrounding the purple-haired girl.
Hummmmmm went an energy sword forming in the hand of the spiky-haired flying girl.
"Oh dear," said a tanned and blonde woman, looking for handcuffs in her handbag.
