Ranma scratched his head. "Okay, so what'd he do? Play 'mix and match'."
"'Mix', at least. I suppose that he didn't have enough from their worlds to fill up one set of pods, and so he put these guys together."
"I see. But why would he do that?"
"Because it seems that each of our new 'friends' has something to do with gun combat of some kind."
"Oh," the pigtailed boy replied, not as confused as some might take him for.
"But, instead of fixating on that nutjob...."
"They've focused on me," he sighed, and looked over at each of the feminine forms that had just awakened.
Having been the first to awaken, Kaname Chidori was the one he had seen first, though she didn't seem to be much of a soldier.
On the other hand, Melissa Mao and Tessa Tesstarosa were obviously combat trained, which meant that they could help out in the battle planning.
The same could be said for the woman who'd introduced herself as Motoko Kusanagi, and was standing near where the strategies were being formed.
Then there was Rally Vincent and her compatriot 'Minnie' May Hopkins, who were both looking for things that they could turn into weapons.
Iria seemed to be content with watching for any possible threats.
And Leona Ozaki was checking out the machinery of the place.
That left two more unaccounted for, and Ranma looked around to see what he could find of the girls around. He knew that there could have been a pair of empty pods, but he didn't want to think that until he had absolute proof of it, one way or the other. It wasn't that he wanted more girls, but that he didn't want to risk getting blindsided by the sight of a girl he didn't remember 'having'.
Persistance did pay off, and soon he was looking at the missing individuals, who were:
