Fighting Girl Trainer Ranma: Sucked In! [Episode 148331]

by Red Priest of the 17th Order

“I only wish that Ranma could act like that to me,” Akane complained out loud. “I wish I could be like those creatures in his stupid game.”

The moment she said it she felt a strange dizziness take hold of her, but the feeling vanished as quickly as it had come.

Shaking her head to dispel the uneasiness, Akane mumbled, “Bah. Must’ve really pushed myself trying to train... Stupid lousy no-good...” She continued to mutter indignantly as she took another step, heading towards the direction of the house...

...And blinked her eyes as she realized this WASN’T the Tendo property anymore. For instead of having stepped onto the back steps of the veranda, as she had meant to...

“OWWW!”

She had stepped onto a rather thorny bush.

“What the heck is going on!?” Akane growled as she hopped up and down on one foot. She yelped as her back hit a tree, but relaxed. It gave her a spot to rest for the time being and take the little thistles out from her foot.

Taking out the painful nuisances, the Heir of the Tendo School of Anything Goes Martial Arts could only wonder just what the heck was going on. Taking a quick look up to see where she had ended up, left the youngest Tendo with a feeling of dread.

Forest.

Lots of forest

Lots of DENSE forest.

Closing her eyes for a moment, Akane repressed a shiver that was traveling down her spine. This SO reminded her of younger times, specifically Ryugenzawa and all the dangerous animals that dwelled there.

“Hopefully, there’ll be none of that here...” Akane thought as she went back to pulling the thorny balls from her foot. Last thing she would need would to be attacked by some inhumane creature while completely lost. This must be how poor Ryoga always felt.

Once all the prickly parts were out from her foot, Akane leaned back against the tree she was. “Okay, too strange. I bet this is Ranma’s fault somehow. The really weird stuff ALWAYS happens because of Ranma...” She thought in classic Nerima fashion. After all, she had been the last person she’d seen, just seconds before she ended up here. He MUST have done something to have caused this. She considered her options, and off the top of the head, found few that would make actual sense.

“I’ll try to pick a direction and-HUH?” Akane shouted, stopping any thoughts about leaving as soon as she saw ‘it’ hanging above her head.

It, of course, was something Akane didn’t think possible. It was almost translucent yellow lettering hanging above her head. It was hard to get a look at, since it stayed Horizontal over the space of her head, so when she’d to lean her head to the side, or back, it would follow.

“There’s gotta be something I can do...” Akane thought in annoyance, as she tried to figure out what the hell was following her.

Looking around, Akane caught sight of a nearby lake. “AH-HA!” She shouted in semi-triumph as she ran over to it. Peering her head over the side, Akane looked in to see just what it was that was floating above her head in neon-yellow lights.

What she saw surprised her. Lettering and numbers?

Frowning, a bit, Akane recognized this to probably be English. However, being primarily lingual and literate in Japanese, the Tendo girl found herself having a hard time making out the bold blocky lettering that was now backwards.

However, before she could take the time to figure out what it was, it was then that Akane heard something. It started off small and quiet, but it was a definite rustling. Something was coming out of the bushes.

Ignoring the pain in her foot as she stomped it into the ground in an Akemi stance, Akane’s eyes were wide, and adrenaline pumping once more. She didn’t want, nor need to get into any battles right now, so she hoped this would be a peaceful encounter...

And then it came out from the bushes, it was...
