Ritsuko was professional and complete as she gathered samples and information on herself and her fellow transformees. She could only determine a few things right away as far as tests went. Most would require time to get results, an hour for the results from the fastest, the more complicated ones requiring days to garner required data.
While waiting their turn, Shinji glanced at the Germanic foxgirl sitting next to him and slowly extended a hand.
On his halting, Asuka glanced warily at him. "What are you doing?"
"I- I- I was just going to-," began a flustered Shinji.
"Oh?" asked a smiling Asuka, raising an eyebrow and thinking pleasantly naughty thoughts.
"-touch your ears," finished Shinji, flinching as if he expected a mallet to come crashing down on his head.
"Oh," said Asuka, sounding disappointed. "I suppose that makes sense. They are kinda different. Go ahead."
Ignoring the way she was apparently back to ignoring him, Shinji reached out and touched the nearest of the long reddish furred ears with the white tips. The fur covering them was short and thick, but soft and warm. Massaging and feeling at it revealed that he could feel her pulse faintly by trapping a section between thumb and forefinger. It was odd how they seemed to feel warmer as he went along stroking and touching. When Asuka groaned and began shuddering, he wondered what was going now.
Asuka had stiffened as she felt his touch along her left ear, the soft tickle, the warmth of the stroke. It was obvious to her college educated mind that her ears were now errogenous zones. Touching them herself had done nothing, but Shinji touching those was making her squirm and stretch and try to suppress a moan. She closed her eyes, leaning into the caress as she felt waves of pleasure spread from her skull, strike her other errogenous zones, and set up echoes that slowly rolled through her body. Despite seeming confidence in her sexuality, she had never come even slightly close to this sort of thing and wasn't prepared for it. Eventually it got to be too much and she felt herself build to a peak and then the explosion of an orgasm that left her shuddering and groaning and wanting it to never ever stop.
"WHOA," said a voice, reminding the two that they were not alone. "I gotta try that."
Asuka and Shinji both looked at Misato, who didn't flinch as she returned their gaze.
"Information is beginning to come in," said Fuyutsuki. "Chimera has been spotted in France."
"The Gaul of some Angels," said a replacement bridge bunny.
Gendo made a mental note to reassign that person. Preferably far far away. "Is it attacking?"
"Mainly small population centers as it wanders, we don't know what the pattern of its movement means yet," added Fuyutsuki. "It may be random. Visual reports indicated it is wounded."
"Off to lick its wounds?" asked Gendo, not expecting an answer.
"Maybe its looking for something," suggested the replacement bridge bunny.
That sounded like an interesting observation. Gendo considered it briefly. "What would it be looking for in that area of France?"
The replacement bridge bunny toggled a display of the area Chimera was moving through. "The area here is mainly vinyards producing wine - some of it really pricey stuff. It goes off worldwide, right?"
"Right," said Fuyutsuki, wondering if the idiot from the temp service had a clue.
"So maybe it's going to try and infect the vinyards and then BAM - worldwide contagion," said the tech.
"Its attack utilizes an AT field infection, not a viral one," pointed out Fuyutsuki. "It wouldn't work like that. Do grapes even HAVE an AT field?"
Gendo scowled. Far far away was too good for him.
