A mere three hours ago, she had to suffer through her latest home ec class. The resulting fiasco almost made her glad for having done so badly on her math test, since he mother usually cared about the sciences before anything else, and this time it played to her advantage. Again. Though it was a bit sad to hide one failure behind another.
Then, there were her attempts to sew a torn button back to her school uniform. Usagi felt she might've had more success if she tried to sue it instead. Then, at least she'd have been sure to collect a nice amount for damages and mental anguish.
On the rare occasions she offered to cook, her brother who could eat anything except food from that Thai restaurant around the corner, would run and lock himself in his room for the remainder of the day.
When she tried taking ballet classes back in third grade, her entire group ended up in the hospital. She swam like a rock. The mere idea of going with her to karaoke still made her friends cringe, even after two years. It was a sad thing to admit to, even to herself, but she was probably a failure as a woman and a human being at the tender age of fourteen.
She had learned to go through life with her failure. She almost managed to forget it, at times. However, it was very hard to do that, when a talking cat was mocking her. Usagi, a reincarnation of the Moon's most elegant and beautiful woman, the one gifted with unparallel allure and talent. The heroine who stopped entire invading armies with a single song of love and peace.
Luna, was it? And she wanted Usagi to sing to her? No problem, no problem at all....
