What need of a sword when one's mind and body could form an edge a razor could only envy? What need of a crossbow when a telekinetic field could send a bolt with enough force to pierce plate armor?
Soon Ranma was learning of the relationship between his chi pool and the "psychic points" the Psions spoke of. With the two made one, he found himself doing things he could only dream of before.
He'd decided early on that, considering his upbringing, the main thrust of the Saotome School of Anything Goes Indiscriminate Grappling was based on adaptability.
So his primary school was Psychometabolism.
It turned out he'd already been using things like Body Weaponry to make his fists able to shatter wood and brick like a mace, and a version of Cell Adjustment was his healing rate. The Animal Affinity was heightened to a high degree by his magic tattoo, a combining of martial arts with magic with psionicism.
All he needed to do was call on the Tiger Spirit, which he'd affectionately named Hobbes.
His Secondary Discipline, which would increase his versatility and adaptability, was chosen just three months prior to his fifteenth birthday.
