Missing Persons: Broadening The Product Base [Episode 149804]

by Kender

If there was any thing that Ecchi knew would be a major problem during this initial build up of her power, it was the possibility of being discovered. It would be a bad thing, even if it was merely a relatively weak person, since being found out would likely mean disaster. Even a simpleton could destroy all her work, given the right opportunity, and she didn't want to risk any of that.

That meant that she'd have to make certain that Evangeline and Asuna were watched for, and a possible trail put out, since the two of them were not simply schoolgirls, and had the support of other powerful individuals. However, that sort of problem came from the other worlds as well, since a visit from Ranma Saotome, Cloud Strife or Hibiki Tokai could be as bad, and she didn't want to have to spend her time with them. Of course, there were tricks to dealing with those who didn't have the full picture, including misdirection, trouble making, and other similar things. Besides, all of the girls were going to be returned, and once they were, there would be little reason to be troubled by the 'procurement', other than the unwillingness of it all, but no harm would actually be done to them.

What she really wanted to focus on was getting as many 'originals' as possible, since that would open up her product base as much as possible. These 'anime' and 'game' girls were going to be rather useful, since they had so much to offer. Not only was there a built in fan base in some worlds, but they could actually provide useful services, like keeping accounts, or building engines, and would look good as they did so.

Yet, she didn't want to simply go with those sorts of series, since the Japanese animation, while having a lot of varied girls to get, would limit her. After all, there were all sorts of other sorts of stuff, just out there and waiting for her to collect them for cloning. Such would be the case with 'live action' series, since there were plenty of them around. How many men wouldn't want a security agent that was a copy of Emma Peel, a soldier like Samantha Carter, or a doctor like Beverly Crusher? The possibilities were endless, and just the 'Star Trek' series would have plenty of choices, even from only the main casts. Plus she could go with at least one or two of the live action adaptions of animes, like the 'Sailor Moon' one, which was one way to get more Senshi. Then there were all those comics, American or not, and what they had spawned. Just with the 'Batman' series of comics, cartoons, shows and movies, she could get at least six different versions of Batgirl, even if a couple of them wouldn't be Barbara Gordon. That didn't even include the books and movies that didn't come from other things. Even the 'video game' worlds held so many possibilities that one could spend a long time trying to get candidates from them all. There was a wealth of material out there, and stuff like the Japanese 'Sentai' shows, and the American comics had been around for decades.

Of course, none of those she picked up would be actresses playing parts, as the shows, comics and movies were merely focus items. She'd be able to use them to go to other universes where these people were living the lives described in the items, and the buyers would get copies of what they actually were looking for. A Klingon would be really a Klingon, and not some girl in make up. And with what she had available, she'd be able to get them all.

Almost giggling to herself over the image of her agents catching girls in Pokeballs, she fought to control herself as she sent them out to get girls from a:
