The blue-haired girl was a yoma, and the whole thing was being arranged as an ambush whereby that pervert General she'd seen earlier was going to try and get in Sailor Moon's panties. Except she wore boxers mostly. Well, whatever. Same principle.
She really needed Artemis at times like this. She needed to be in two places at once. Keeping an eye on this yoma and the ambush was one. Keeping an eye on that thoroughly un-princess-like Sailor Moon was another. Honestly, if she could just find the Moon Princess quickly - she'd dump the problems on her and go off to have a catnip tea as soon as the dark menace was dealt with.
Ranma had made a discovery when he had become Usagi Tsukino and while searching through various sources for inspiration for his new life. Her new life. Whatever.
Usagi had read manga. Also mangwha. She had a single Amerikajin komike, which was likely something she'd picked up on impulse and never revisited. Now that he WAS Usagi, she had gone through several sources looking for a "role model" to emulate. One that intrigued her, but ultimately been discarded, had been that of Bruce Wayne aka Batman.
Yeah, all those other superheroes had fancy-schmancy powers. Batman though - he had TRAINED. He knew dozens of martial arts styles, had a lot of gadgets to help even out the difference in raw power, and (important bit) if he wasn't able to defeat a particular opponent the first time - he figured out how to overcome the special manuever/superpower/gadget and came back again to triumph over the forces of villainy.
Usagi wished that she'd read about this in her life as Ranma, as this was very cool and she could relate. Okay, maybe he was a little brooding and had that whole dark past thing. Still, very cool that a gaijin superhero practiced a form of Anything Goes martial arts.
Luna's innocent little comment had gotten a few wheels turning inside the mind of Usagi Tsukino.
There were some definite roadblocks on the path to having a Mooncave with a Moonjet and Mooncar and so forth. The first one being that neither Ranma Saotome nor Usagi Tsukino was gadget oriented. Not mechanically or electronically inclined, not skilled in the repair or upkeep of gadgetry. Neither was Sayuri, obviously.
While stalking through the underground base, Usagi noticed the shrouded vehicle and this time investigated further. Maybe it would make a good Mooncar but then who knew how to drive it?
Jadite pondered. He also changed the icepack, but he pondered as well.
This young Dark General. What fire she had! What grace she possessed! What a devastating kick!
Jedite shifted his icepack. Who was his newest minion? Oh yes. "SATSUKI!"
Shadows congealed into a girl in a slinky dress. "You rang, O Lord Of Bedevilment?"
"Indeed," said Jedite. "I may need a cane for a little while. Not something that weakens my appearance though."
"Try this, milord, you can also brandish it dramatically," said Satsuki, pulling a wooden sword out of nowhere.
"Whoa," said Jedite. "A little plain isn't it?"
"Plain, straightforward, simple elegance," indicated Satsuki.
"Perhaps you're right," said Jedite. "What of my rivals?"
"They think you're cracked, well, except Nephrite who keeps muttering something about the stars and cheese whiz." Satsuki scratched her head.
"The stars and 'cheese whiz'?" asked Jedite.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure that was it," said Satsuki.
"Hmmmm," hmmmed Jedite. "I would have expected that from one of the others, but not Nephrite."
"Well, I was kind of hanging upside down in a side closet," admitted Satsuki. "There was a lot of background noise. But he did seem to think you were up to something clever and he had a way of dealing with it that involved cheese whiz."
"Well, he will find that I am more than a match for any pseudo-dairy product he unleashes against me," said Jedite.
