She hid as her Master went past, apparently looking for her.
She hid as her sisters went right up to her hiding place and looked down at the bush.
"I'm not here," said Akane.
"Riiiiight," drawled Nabiki.
"Oh there she is," said Ranma, sighting the two girls flanking a bush that had a pair of legs sticking out. "I-"
Kasumi held a hand up. "I'm afraid you have to perform a duty Ranma."
"'Duty'?" asked Ranma.
Kasumi nodded. "It is the duty of a full-use slave to serve their Master, but the Master has to maintain discipline and provide for his slaves. Akane was to scrub your back and attend you in your bath, and instead she has made you drop everything and come looking for her. She needs to be punished."
"'punished'?" asked Ranma in a strangled voice.
"'punished'?" squeaked Akane.
"Punished," agreed Kasumi with a nod.
"Punished," said Nabiki, rubbing her hands together and looking very intrigued by this development.
"Uhm, okay, ah, you're punished?" said Ranma to Akane, sounding like he was asking her a question.
"No, Master, you have to take your responsibilities seriously," said Nabiki. "After all, if you don't maintain order - someone could file a motion to have us taken away. Someone like Kuno-baby. The Master must provide for his slaves, and providing discipline is one of those things. It's a point of honor."
Ranma slumped. "...but I don't know nothing about punishing nobody."
"Well, in that case," said Kasumi thoughtfully. "As your slaves, we need to make suggestions. How about..."
