Text-Based Yu-Gi-Oh Duellist Academy: Asuka's Fatal Mistake [Episode 152197]

by Mister-E

You draw Double Spell. (Spell)

Well that’s fine... I still have a plan. Special Summon The Fiend Megacyber.

You summon a heavily armoured warrior monster to the field. (6/2200/1200) “Hey! How did you summon a level six monster without a tribute!?” She shouts out.

Explain effect.

“It’s simple really.” You begin. “Anytime you have two more monsters than I do I can special summon it.”

Now, summon Command Knight in attack mode, then explain effect.

“Now I summon Command Knight in attack mode.” An almost feminine looking knight arrives on your field. (4/1200/1900)“And as long as it’s face up all my warrior monsters are given an extra 400 attack points. And as long as I have another monster on the field it can’t be attacked.” (1200/1900 – 1600/1900) (2200/1200 – 2600/1200)

“Oh Mein Gott...”

Attack Gnarl with Megacyber.

Your armoured monster charges across the field and slashes at the dinosaur with a huge claw, destroying it.

Tenchi: 3200
Asuka: 2700

End Turn.

Asuka draws one card sets a monster in face down defence mode.

You draw Gearfried The Iron Knight. (4/1800/1600)

Summon Gearfried and use it to attack Cyber Raider, then send Megacyber against her face down.

As soon as it hits the field the heavily armoured knight’s attack raises thanks to Command Knight. (1800 – 2200) It easily rushes across the field and destroys the Cyber Raider.

Tenchi: 3200
Asuka: 2400

The Fiend Megacyber rushes across and slashes her face down with a huge claw, Gear Golem the Moving Fortress (4/800/2200)

Now attack her directly with Command Knight.

Your stat-boosting monster charges across the field and slashes at Asuka with it’s rapier.

Tenchi: 3200
Asuka: 800

End Turn.

Your turn is over. Then she smiles gleefully after she draws her card. “It’s over now. I now play Card of Sanctity to force both of us to draw till we have six cards.”

Asuka now has six cards. You draw three more: Monster Reborn (Spell), Silent Swordsman Lvl 3 (4/1000/1000) and Reinforcements of the Army. (Spell)

“Now I’ll summon Zombra the Dark in attack mode!” She summons a dark warrior with large claws to the field. (4/2100/500)

Wow, big beatstick. What’s the drawback?

It looses 200 attack points each time it destroys a monster. “Now, I’ll equip it with the Twin Swords of Flashing Light – Tryce.” Her monster’s attack lowers by 500, but it can attack twice in battle now. (2100 – 1600)

I think this means she going to summon another monster somehow...

“Now I play Lightning Vortex! I have to discard one card to the graveyard, but I can now destroy every face up monster on your end of the field.” A small thunderstorm appears overhead before three bolts of lightning rain down destroying all your monsters.

“Now your open! And I activate Monster Reborn to summon my discarded monster, Guardian Tryce in attack mode!” A man with twin swords arrives on her field, performing a short sword kata with his blades. (5/1900/1700) “Now, attack his Life Points Directly!” The guardian rushes over and slashes you with both swords.

Tenchi: 1500
Asuka: 800

Aw crap!

“Now Zombra, attack him directly!” She points at you waiting for her monster to attack...

And waiting...

And waiting...

Ummm... Why isn’t it attacking?

Another of Zombra’s drawbacks, it can’t attack directly.

He-he-he... Say: ‘How did you intend to beat anyone without knowing your own cards? Zombra can’t attack directly.’

“Oh shut up! I was just... testing is all!” She says, blushing with embarrassment. “I’ll activate my face down card Ultimate Offering to summon Big Shield Guardna in defence mode. I now end my turn.”

She summons a warrior with a huge shield to the field. (4/100/2600)

You draw Silent Magician Lvl 4 (4/1000/1000)

OK, how does it work?

Each time your opponent draws a card add a spell-counter to it. Each spell counter gives it 500 attack points for a maximum of 5 counters. During the end phase that it has 5 spell counters on it you may offer it for Silent Magician Lvl 8.

Whoa. And Level 8?

8/3500/1000 that can’t be affected by your opponent’s spell cards.

Nice, summon Silent Magician in attack mode.

You summon a cute white and purple mage to the field and Asuka scoffs at it. “That’s your big comeback, that tiny little thing?”

Say: ‘It won’t be tiny for much longer. I play Level Up to summon Silent Magician Lvl 8!’

She starts to look worried as you Lvl 4 is replaced with the most powerful monster in your deck. It’s a taller and much stronger version of Silent Magician Lvl 4. (8/3500/1000) Asuka takes a big gulp as she looks at it.

“Uh oh...”

Attack her Zombra with Silent Magician.

Your magician levels it’s staff with her warrior and after a moment a purplish blast of energy erupts from the staff and slams into Zombra.

Tenchi: 1500
Asuka: 0

All her other monsters dissolve as she falls to her knees.
