DS Pokegirls: Gary dies. And no-one cares.

Unfortunately, the Vamp knew full well that the armor would provide protection. Which was why, when Gary swaggered confidently through the patch of light and into the shade, she didn't bother going for the chest or swiping at the stomach when she lunged. Instead, she stabbed with one of her claws at his unprotected throat.Gary backpedaled, wide-eyed as a spurt of arterial blood sprayed in front of him as he fell into the patch of light and the Vamp slunk backwards, glaring at him as he bled out on the floor. Professor Oak just sighed.
"I lose more grandsons that way...."
That had been what.... Gary the fourth? Well at least he would still have Gary the fifth to spoil for another couple years, along with his younger brother, Gary the sixth. Although it looked like his son and daughter in law were working on making a Gary the seventh. With luck, at least one Gary would survive long enough to fulfil his duties as an Oak.
The Professor made some notes on his clipboard, completely ignoring the cooling corpse on the floor, and turned back to the remaining five candidates and said a word that made their blood seem to freeze in their veins.
"Next!"

Appalled at this callous disregard for the sanctity of life, Ash/Ranma decides that now is a good time to get the hell out of dodge. Unfortunately, he trips over his own feet and knocks himself out. When he wakes up, he's safely tucked in bed and being shaken by Kasumi. Phew... that was some nighmare.

Wait... no, that's not Kasumi at all. It just looks like her. And he's not back at the Tendo dojo either. It seems that Ash injures himself often enough, or ends up injured anyway, that he has a reserved bed in the professor's infirmary just for him.

In a proud show of bravery and fortitude, one of the other candidates volunteers....

...Specifically, he volunteers Ash, reasoning that if he sacrifices the runt, she might be less interested in killing him.....

.... but it backfires! She likes Ash! Or at least, she likes that he's a short weakling that looks relatively easy to boss around in comparison to the other possibles, anyway. One of the two.
