Padawan's Problem: In the headJedi Master's office [Episode 152324]

The dark-haired youth looked around the foyer of the venerable Training Master's office and fidgeted nervously. It was... unusual for a padawan to be called up here for disciplining, since that was normally the responsibility of the individual's mentoring knight, but circumstances this time were quite beyond the norm, and as such, customs just have to deal with being bent. It would have been pretty funny, if it hadn't been so serious this time...

"So, young one. An accident you have had, it appears?"

The voice was not unkind, merely resigned. Still, it startled the youth - Master Yoda hid his presence well when he wanted to. Youth whirled to face ancient.

"Master Yoda!" the young man blurted, whirling to face the ancient. The old master smiled, not unkindly.

"Calm yourself, padawan. Punishment, this visit's purpose is not. Your lesson, the Force itself is teaching, eh?" Yoda smiled, and the youth repressed a shudder. It was true, with a punishment like the one he had been inflicted for his brashness and impetuousness, further repercussions seemed redundant. But one never knew with the council.

"Why was I called up here, Master Yoda? I had assumed you had some more bad news for me, seeing as that's why I'm usually in your offices..."

Yoda gave a short laugh. "Indeed. No, today, information you have been called here to receive. In the Jedi archives, a case similar to yours has been recorded. Study it, you should. Meditate on it, and know that when the lesson truly learned is, over your punishment will be." With that, the wizened old Jedi produced a datapad, and sent his student on his way to meditate on:

• The reasons, beyond the obvious, why he would turn into a petite redheaded girl when he came into contact with cold water (Ranma ½)
• How to handle the obnoxious pet/droid/powerful sentient weapon that was following him around and demanding/begging for his attention (Tenchi Muyo, El Hazard, etc)
• His apparently imminent marriage to a princess of some alien culture or other who refused to recognize the Jedi Code as an obstacle (Various)
• How to cope with suddenly being physically several years younger (Detective Conan, Ranma ½, etc)
• The responsibility of protectorship of some planet whose swing vote in the Senate made their customs too important to ignore (dunno)
• Some other ridiculous situation
