The Drow goddess tilted her head toward her flabberghasted mother-in-law. "Your son is a fine man, Mother," she stated with a small smile. "He's even gotten me to reconcile with my daughter, Ellestrae." She waved a hand toward the seated female beside her, her lavender eyes sparkling in joy. "Greet your Grandmother, child."
The woman pulled back her hood, revealing a near-identical kuroninjin, who had eyes of a sparkling golden hazel. "Hello, Grandmother Saotome. Mother has changed, let me tell you."
Nodoka went popped up from her seat and began to dance around, waving fans and cheering. "A grandchild! A grandchild! He got me a grandchild!" she whooped.
The mammoth man dropped his head to the table and began to shake it from side to side. "He told us," he muttered into the laquered wood. "I did not believe it, but our 'fearless' leader hit it dead upon the head, he did."
Lolith grinned, for the barest instant appearing as if she were her old self. "I can relate," she replied. Looking at her daughter, she smirked slightly. "I wonder when my own little girl is going to tie the knot."
Ellestrae sighed theatrically. "I'm still looking for Mr. Right," she replied as if from long repetition. "Not everyone is like Father."
"Few men are," the still-cloaked woman answered. "Few men are."
The smallest of the group cleared his throat. "Should we stop her, Ranma?" he enquired.
The pigtailed man rested his head on his cupped hand. "Let her get it out of her system," he decided after a moment. "She'll get enough shocks later on."
