"What is?" Sailor Moon said.
Sailor Mercury gave a small nod. "That's true."
"What would be?"
"But we can't be sure either way," the raven haired girl sighed, raising her brows at the cram school student. "We don't have the information."
"On what?"
"Yes, but we can get the information. It'll just be a question of what we'll find then," the blue haired girl replied.
"But what would we be looking for?"
"We can't see if we don't look, right?" the shrine priestess commented.
"'See' what?!"
"You're correct on that," Mercury agreed. "But the only way to find out for sure is to actually look for ourselves."
"At what?!"
Mars crossed her arms over her chest. "But won't we cause that 'paradox' that she was trying to prevent?"
"How would we start it?"
"Probably not. Remember, if she comes back and tells us, then we'll be second guessing each move that we make. However, if we find out about it ourselves, then we won't be having information from the future, and won't be stuck trying to work things into that view of the future."
"WHAT ARE YOU TWO TALKING ABOUT?!" Moon shrieked, with her shoulders hunched like she was about to tackle them.
Both Mercury and Mars took a step back, and the latter frown at their normally cheerful leader. "What's with you?"
"I've been trying to ask questions, but the two of you have been going on like I'm not even here!"
"We have?"
"You have!"
"Sorry about that Usagi," Mercury murmured, her face coloring in embarrassment and guilt. "You see, we were caught up on our own questions."
"Which are...."
"Well.... What's happened to Ranma? It seems that part of the possessed Pluto's problem was the fact that he was entangled with us somehow. But we don't know in what form that would be."
"Ohh.... Okay. Now I understand."
"Good. I'm glad but now...."
"You'll be looking for that through the Gate," Moon told her.
"I will?"
"Yes, you will. It's the only thing that you can do, right? I mean, it's what's been showing us things...."
"Sometimes, you make me see that you're not just a dumpling head after all," Mars drawled.
"Thanks.... HEY! REI!"
"Heh."
As Moon fumed, Mercury shook her head, and started the search with the Gate. Images passed by with stops every so often, each just long enough to let one see what it was showing. More and more of them focused in on Ranma, and soon, they could see something in particular.
"Looks like his Dad's talking to lots of women about Ranma," Sailor Venus commented. "Why would he want to do that?"
"Maybe he thinks that he's got something to offer?" Sailor Saturn suggested.
Sailor Jupiter frowned thoughtfully. "I don't think that's all it. Of course, he could be making deals, but remember before. Ranma was getting chased by lots of girls. How much do you want to be that his dad would want that at least controlled?"
"Somehow, I don't think that he's so.... comfortable with that, but it's true," Mars responded. "We shouldn't just assume that something would be the case."
"I can understand that. However...."
"What?"
"It looks like one of us is with him."
"Oh... you're right."
"And what's he saying.... Wow. Is that...."
Saturn's eyes widened. "That's about an engagement."
"Did his father set that up?" asked Mercury.
"We can't be sure," the tall girl answered. "We don't know. For all we know, he could have done it himself."
"How could that be the case?"
"Simple. You passed by that part."
"Ah... right...." the genius replied, flushing lightly.
"But still, nothing changes the fact that he's supposed to tie the nut...." Venus began.
"That's 'knot'," Moon corrected gently. "It's 'knot'."
