If he detoured to the Jinnai home, chances were that Nanami or her idiot brother would make him late. And Miss Hinako had already warned him that if he was late again she was going to drain him good. And while she was a babe in her adult form, he'd rather the victim be somebody else.
Besides, he'd heard that they'd stumbled on some interesting ruins in the basement last week...
