Besides, the cursed 'girl' had a body that made wearing such an outfit a visually pleasing situation.
Of course, Akane Tendo did look good in her own uniform too, even though she didn't have the busty sexiness of Ranma's girl side. She was attractive in a more athletic way, with a lithe form that was sleek and strong. Adding in a passionate nature, and a skimpy outfit, and she could be the sort of image of what a hormonal teenaged boy would want.
Not that she wanted that, as she disliked the idea of dressing up in such a uniform. But since her family owed the debt, it was up to her to take it up. After all, if it hadn't been for this sort of arrangement, one of the sisters would have been stuck as the bride for the Chardin heir, and none of the Tendos wanted that. So, she had to work off the debt, no matter what she had to do.
Though, Setsuna did have to wonder just how a family like the Chardins had managed to survive so long, as they weren't exactly the most appealing group. Paying off the Tendos' debt was not a problem for her, as she didn't want to see that engagement go through. And that wasn't simply because she might have lost Akane otherwise, as she thought that it was for the best.
Akane was going to be a help though, as she did have potential, and giving her situations where she could actually put that suppressed talent to good, and real use. She had strength that could be used, if it were channeled properly, and this could help her do it. Besides, she did bring her sisters, Kasumi, who was a mothering and helping figure, and Nabiki, whose skills in organization and planning were excellent, into association with what would happen. Plus, there was that engagement that Genma was planning on having with one of the Tendo girls marrying his son.
Then there was the third maid, who was someone who could help as well. Having her around should help things go as they should, and make the future better. That was why Setsuna had also arranged for the third maid to be:
