Ranma Saotome was a strange man considering that he had supposedly from the residents' of Nerima point of view a harem of beautiful women that he could score with and that he was an idiot for not doing so.
Ranma knew from the beginning that the second he slept with Shampoo or Akane or Ukyo or Kodachi or one of the many fiancees his father made for him his life would be a living hell. Not to mention that the regular, standard fiancees were lesbians using Ranma as the decoy and making sure he would take the heat from their affairs.
Ranma also knew about the whole thing about what Akane and the others were doing and he was less innocent and naive then he pretended to be.
