Lina felt a presence near by and struggled to wake up.
"Go into a trance and not wake up!" A female voice commanded.
Lina's eyes snapped open, but she went into an unseeing trance. A tall blonde woman wearing a black dress looked down at the sleeping chimera.
"Stand up!" the woman commanded
Lina did so without hesitation. The woman walked around Lina and examined her from all sides. With a gesture from the blonde woman, the Demon Blood Talismans floated away from Lina and settled themselves into a pile. Other than the leotard and slippers, Lina's clothes formed a pile near her. The woman lifted Lina's arm and nodded.
"The leotard and slippers have bonded with you and altered," the woman stated. "You now look like an animated gemstone. Your 'exposed' flesh shines and sparkles in the light."
The woman nodded, as she held out her palm. "I need to teach you a spell. The same spell that was used on Gorun Nova and the best way to teach it to you is to use it on you."
The woman chanted and Lina turned into a gold sword hilt. The woman grabbed the hilt and concentrated. A beam of red energy shot from the sword hilt. The woman tossed the sword hilt to the ground and it turned back into the still entranced Lina. The woman smiled, as she studied Lina.
"That spell is now buried within you if you need it. Until now, I did not sense your change. When you destroyed that bay, you promised yourself to me. You are no longer human and now my toy and I can do with you what I want."
The woman walked behind Lina and chuckled. "I wonder if I should have 'Property of...' stamped across your butt, like one of those dolls on that other world. At any rate, we need to talk. No. You have to obey my command. When you encounter Nali and Diol, you will send them to this plane to serve you. Nali will organize your afterlife and Diol will be in charge of keeping track of magical knowledge. It is a combination punishment and reward."
The woman stroked her chin and gestured, which caused the Demon Blood Talismans to be once more worn by Lina.
"The automatic obedience that higher level Shinzoku and Mazoku have for me has caught your human third off guard. Do not recall what has just happened here. Sleep, and a few seconds after I leave, wake up."
Lina dropped to the ground and the woman nodded. She vanished in a flash of gold light. Lina sat up and looked around.
"I thought I felt something," Lina muttered.
Lina looked at her arm and noticed something different about the sleeve of the leotard.
"Why is the arm of this outfit glittering. It looks like a strange ruby," Lina muttered and took a look at the yellow part of the costume. "That looks like topaz or a gold gem."
Lina tried rolling the sleeves of the leotard up, but they didn't move. Lina frantically tried to slip her fingers between the leotard and her skin elsewhere but found that the leotard was fused to her. She even tried removing the slippers to no avail.
"DIOL!" Lina screamed, and golden light surrounded Lina.

Mazenda was doing her best to lose Xellos when a golden aura surrounded her and slammed into her very hard. She fell to the ground panting.
"What was that?" Mazenda whispered.
"My my my. It looks like Miss Lina broke the seal on her own," a smirking Xellos said. "That was the aftershock of your spell being broken very forcefully."
Mazenda looked up and saw Xellos sitting on a tree branch.
"What are you talking about?" Mazenda rasped out.
"It seems some enterprising little wizard decided to do some chimera research with Miss Lina as the subject. That wizard did quite a good job on remaking Miss Lina."
"Who did this?"
"Now that is a secret," Xellos said, as he brought his staff up and then down.
Xellos stared at the dissipating smoke that was once Mazenda. "It is a secret I don't know. After I take care of the Claire Bible manuscript, I'll have to report to Lord Beastmaster about Miss Lina.

Lina sat down in the shadow plane and stared at her arms and she was blushing very hard.
"This is my body and other than the talismans, I'm naked," Lina muttered. "This outfit was never enchanted. It was bonding to me. But, why? How? What did you do to me Diol?"
Lina stood up and quickly put a dress on and frowned. "I thought I was wearing this when I went to bed. I must have been more tired than I thought."
Without thinking about it, Lina opened her hand and muttered a spell. A ball of incredibly brilliant light formed in Lina's hand. Lina closed her eyes and looked away.
"That's way too bright," Lina said and cast the ball high into the 'air'
Opening her eyes, Lina looked up at the ball of light. "Wait a second. I thought my spells were sealed. Maybe the seal finally broke down."
Lina smiled wickedly. "It's time to rescue Amelia."
