After all, there was some little doll girl trying to introduce pointy metal implements to his backside.
"Come back here so that I can make pork cutlets!" yelled the blade obsessed one.
"I just want to smash that pervert!" declared the cute girl with the mismatched eyes that was swinging around a giant fan.
"It's not good to make such a fool suffer quickly," declared a blonde in dark tones. "That sort of thing takes some time."
Hearing what they were saying had him charging faster down the street, and he ran as fast as he could. Garbage cans got kicked into the air, signs were smashed, and walls suddenly got holes in them as he continued onward, making to go for the hills.
He just never noticed the fact that some people were turning scowls in his direction as he destroyed property, shoved people out of the way, and streaked around without any apparent attempt to get dressed.
Of course, he was likely to get to see that soon enough.
Scientists could be pains in the asses, but this time Major Griff wasn't about to make any complaints in that arena. Female personnel had already been snatched by unknown forces, and the only thing that was left by the kidnappers was their ship. As it represented their only link to the one that had done it, and was a source of advanced technology, they knew that this was not something that they would want to ignore. If that meant that they would have to work with civilian scientists, then that was what he was going to do.
But then again, he also wasn't ready for the sound of shooting to erupt over his radio link. "What the hell is that?!"
One of his subordinate's frowned as he pressed his own earbud deeper into his ear. "I'm getting reports of unknown individuals on the base. Apparently they're human, but they're also not from around here."
"How do you know that?"
"They're wearing color coded uniforms, and are attacking with energy weapons."
"Great.... Just what we didn't need," Griff muttered, and got to work.
Hiroshi sipped from his soda as he stepped out of the fast food restaurant with Daisuke and watched the parade passing by him. "Is that what I think it is?"
"A naked Ryoga Hibiki being chased by a bunch of girls?" the darker haired boy asked.
"Thought so."
"Looks like they're heading up the street."
"Maybe someone will find out where he goes when he gets lost now."
"What do you mean?"
"Do you actually think that those girls would give up if a naked boy showed himself to them like that?"
"That's true," Daisuke admitted. "But there's one problem with that."
"What?"
"It looks like they're going to pass by the right of us now."
"Hmmm.... Funny. Oh, and now they're heading back in front of us."
"In the opposite direction from before."
"Yup."
"Business as usual?"
"Business as usual," Hiroshi agreed, taking another sip of his drink.
"So this is where they took them," Spiderman commented as he walked around the massive that he found himself in. "But that is just wrong."
Cyclops looked over at him. "What is?"
"That. I'm not sure if that is supposed to be a religious statement or something, but it isn't exactly comforting."
"I doubt that they put it up for just that reason. However, it is important for us."
"How so?"
"It's a clue as to what sort of people we're facing."
"I don't care about the details," the Thing grumbled, though he scowled at the giant white figure on the cross. "But whoever they are, they're going to get clobbered."
"My thoughts exactly," Wolverine commented, sliding his claws out, while:
