Therefore there was an individual named Tatewaki Kuno who was now named something entirely different...
"JEDITE!"
"You bellowed, your eminence?"
"What of your plans to deal with this rival dark kingdom?" asked Beryl.
"I am hard at work, preparing the details of a trap to deal with my opposite number within that kingdom," responded Jedite. "Once captured and at our mercy, we can gain details of this other kingdom at our leisure."
"Why are you gesturing around with that wooden sword?" asked Beryl, idly thinking that he was going to take someone's eye out with it.
"I don't know, yet it seems somehow quite natural," admitted Jedite.
"Fine," said Beryl, her hands dancing around the crystal ball until she found an episode of "Doraemon" she hadn't seen. "See to it that you succeed, the price of failure is to be entombed in crystal. Then, if I'm really in a bad mood, you'd be sold on the Home Shopping Network."
"As you command," said Jedite.
Ranma got up, realized he was still Usagi, but that wasn't the panic-inducing angst-developing situation it HAD been.
Oh, there were still moments when he'd hope that it would turn out to be a bad dream and he'd go down to face the Tendos, but he'd come to accept this more or less.
SHE had started out as fluffhead, but now she was a bit more acceptable.
After stretching out it was back to exercises, both with a wooden practice sword and without. As her body warmed from the exercises, the pace increased. Just because Anything Goes didn't use kata normally didn't mean that one didn't learn kata - that was how repetition caused the reflexes to memorize certain moves.
Over and over again. The mind knew the manuevers, it was the body that had to catch up.
Fortunately there wasn't anything important that had to be done today, it wasn't a schoolday after all.
Mach Race Track #5, Takarazuka Japan.
"CAR 54, WHERE ARE YOU?" asked the race announcer.
There were mumbles from the crowd as one of the cars had clearly vanished sometime after the smoke of Car 13 had briefly covered the track.
"Car 54, driver Haruka Ten'ou, has gone missing," said the announcer. "Has anyone seen Car 54?"
Autobahn, Germany.
"WHERE THE HELL AM I NOW?!"
Beep Beep!
"Trying to pass me? Well nobody passes Ryo- I mean Haruka Ten'ou!" VROOOM!
