That and two other reasons. Kodachi was afraid to go to her home and Ukyou was more concerned with possibly walking in on Konatsu in the small living quarters at the Ucchans' than she was concerned with walking in on someone in the spacious Tendo Dojo.

And so when they arrived at the Dojo they found...

• The two Akanes are there, wondering where everybody is...both girls (given something of a flip in tastes) grumble about how lucky Ranma is...
• Nabiki is there with Terry...wondering where everybody is...
• Kasumi is there with Guile...trying to deal with the fact she slept with a married man...(is the internal struggle visible?)
• Soun is there with Yohko Mano's mother...how does he react to the Wild Horse and his Mares?
• something else
