"WHAT?! ACK! THEY'RE GOING AT IT WITH THE SWORDS! EEK! TABLES ARE BEING SLICED APART!!"
Brianna sighed, "Genn, tell mom that I love her, but me and Ranma are leaving for the next five to fifteen years."
"SAY WHAT?!?"
"Sorry Genn." Brianna hung up the phone and started to get dressed. Ranma was already ahead of her getting dressed himself. He handed her clothing to her when he found some. "Sorry love."
Ranma sighed as he put on the last of his clothing and packed up the rest of the dowery in a bag of holding. "For what?"
Brianna sighed as she got the rest of her clothing on, "I know you wanted to introduce me to your mother."
Ranma sighed but nodded as he grabbed the last of the stuff they had, "It's okay." He then smiled a bit, "Just let her calm down a bit."
Brianna nodded, "I wish we didn't have to run. But I don't want mom to forbid me from seeing you. That would just break my heart."
"It would break mine as well." Ranma smiled as he got the last of his stuff together. The two of them took off and ran out the backdoor of the hotel. They jumped to the rooftops and continued to run. Unseen to them there were two others watching them leave from the shadows.
"So, why didn't you stop them Dear?"
"Why didn't you make me?"
"Because I want her to be happy."
"Same here Muffin. I'll admit, I was tempted to stop them. But Bri needs someone."
"I know Britanny. I know." So saying the happily married couple walked back to the war-zone of two mothers fighting each other.
Meanwhile Genn was staring at the phone. "Great, how am I suppost to tell them that they're kids just ran away?"
"WHAT? WHAT DO YOU MEAN THEY LEFT?!" Came the voice of one angry Armsmaster.
Genn gulped, she didn't mean to say that outloud. "Eh heh."
Nodoka frowned, "YOUR NO-GOOD, STREET-WALKER DAUGHTER TOOK MY BABY BOY AWAY!"
Julia scowled at Nodoka and the two looked ready to come to blows again. Gina and Theo were watching this a bit worried. Britanny and Strype came in and sat down by Gina, Britanny whispered to her sister, "Have they done any serious fighting?"
Gina whispered back, "Nope."
Julia and Nodoka glared at each other as they seethed in anger thinking about their offspring that had run away.
Genn muttered, "You two fighting is why they ran away."
"WHAT WAS THAT?!"
Genn gulped as she saw Julia and Nodoka's version of the Demon Head attack. She quickly waved her arms back and forth, "Uh, nothing, nothing at all."
Meanwhile Brianna and Ranma made their way to a quickie chapel when Ranma spotted something, "Say Brianna?"
"Yeah love?"
"I see a temple up ahead. How about we stop there and get wed?"
"Huh? A quickie chapel would be faster."
"I know. But this would be better. Mom's a traditionalist, she won't fight us getting married if we had a temple priest bless us."
Brianna nodded, "Yeah, I guess so." The two of them made their way to the temple, they landed on the street in front of it and had to run up a long flight of stairs to get to the top. When they got there, they saw a miko in red robes and an old priest in blue robes sweeping up. "Excuse me."
The old man looked up, "Yes?"
Brianna looked a bit desperate, "Can you preform a marriage service?"
The man nodded, "Yes I can, why?"
Ranma spoke up, "Listen, we need to get married. Our mothers are rather upset with each other and we're afraid that they might try and keep us apart."
The miko blinked, "Hey. You're that girl from the tower of the Uncute Scarlet Dragon aren't you?"
Brianna blinked, "Uh, do I know you? I didn't see you there."
The miko, Rei, sweated, "Uh, eh heh. NO! NOT AT ALL!" She started to go inside.
Ranma blinked, "Oh that's right, she's Sailor Mars of those Senshi that showed up. I'm sure of it."
Rei froze, 'Oh crap!'
The priest, Grandpa Hino, nodded and patted Rei on the shoulder, "I already knew a long time ago." He then turned to the youths, "Give me a minute and I'll be right back out so we can get this underway."
"YOU KNEW!?! WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!"
Hino-san shrugged and walked inside, as he was walking in, he spoke, "Well, I am the owner of the place, I happen to know how to sneak around quietly as well. I overheard you and your friends speaking many times. Though I quit listening in after that green haired lady showed up and told me to leave you and your friends alone." Hino-san shivered, "Those red eyes of hers were scary."
Brianna nodded, "Yes, yes, but , sir, can you please perform a marriage ceremony? Me and my fiance need to get married, QUICK!"
Hino-san nodded, "Certainly." He then went inside to get changed for the occasion. Rei's eye was twitching as she realized her grandfather knew about her secret life.
Rei looked at them, "Why are you so desperate to get married again?"
Brianna sighed, "Parents are gainst it, and we love each other. So we want to get married quickly! We'll hide out for awhile and have a couple of kids, then we'll see them again."
Rei blinked, "Oh, come on. It can't be that bad."
Ranma shivered, "It's worse! Both are martial artists of high caliber and they'll hurt one another." He started to get depressed, "Besides, they might try and keep us apart."
Rei blinked, "I'm sure they wouldn't do that."
"YOU DON'T KNOW OUR MOM'S!" The two yelled, blowing Rei's hair back and causing her to land on her butt.
Hino-san walked back out at this time in his High Priest robes, "Let's get these two hitched."
Ranma blinked, "Wait." He pulled out a golden candlestick from the dowery. "This is for payment of services."
Hino-san nodded, took the candle and preformed the ceremony which lasted for a few minutes. "I now pronounce you man and wife."
Ranma and Brianna laughed happily as they were now married.
