And now, if her double was to be believed, her sempai actually liked her. His feelings weren't the simple care and concern for someone he saw as a little sister, but for a girl that he saw as attractive and caring. She wasn't quite sure if she could see that in herself, as she'd never felt very pretty, but the idea that he might like her like that was both very heady, and hard to take in. Not that she was going to complain if it really was the case, as even the chance that it was true gave her a warm feeling in her chest.
What she needed to know was just how 'real' these feelings were. If he did feel that way, then she needed to be aware of how he saw her, because she did not want to mess anything up. As she cared so much about him, ruining what they had was not something that she could do. The only one who could help her was her double, but to 'talk' correctly, she would have to have some time alone with her. After all, she'd already embarrassed herself over her initial communications with her 'twin'.
Still, she had to know the truth, as this was something that could definitely change everything, and she wanted to make it for the better... especially since she saw her sempai as warm, protective, caring and someone who she cared very deeply about. And if he actually did share her interest in her being his girlfriend, then her imagination could really go into overdrive.
Just the idea of it happening had her blushing and fidgeting.
There was a small glint of understanding in her duplicate's eye. I'll help you in any way that I can.
