Brianna Saotome: Battle of the Mothers... [Episode 15718]

by Thrythlind

"Ryu Sei Sen!!!" Nodoka shouted as she descended upon Julia with her sword held high.

"Hah! If that is the best you can do," Julia called back. "I'm sure your playboy of son is nothing but frail little weakling." Julia lashed out with her own sabre and smirked as Nodoka's blade caught her own.

"This is SOOO cool," the hotel clerk said.

Gina, Stryp and Theo blinked at that...mostly it was the sight of a thirty something woman in a manager's uniform saying "SOOO cool" that had them surprised.

What was really odd was that half the hotel staff was watching...and taking notes. Seems that the clerk wasn't the only practioner of Anything Goes Hotel Management Martial Arts. They were especially impressed with how both combatants seemed to be avoiding damaging the hotel too much. (That would have been rude after all)

It was that fact that had Theo not interferring. If they were in control enough that there was no damage being done, then the fight was only a show and blow up, not a real fight.

"Well," Nodoka huffed indignantly. "At least I have not raised my daughter to be a veritable streetwalker."

"Hey!" Gina snapped.

"Even if they were," Julia growled. "And they AREN'T, it would be better than some overly macho jerk with an inflated belief in his martial prowess."

"Okay!" Britanny said. "I got them, you can stop the fight now." So saying she deposited Ranma and Brianna who were staring at the two swordswomen in something akin to awe after having seen some of the fight.

"Mom..." Ranma said tightly. "Can you teach me that?" Who cared that it was a sword style. Weapons weren't bad, DEPENDENCE on weapons were bad.

Meanwhile certain wererats were watching all the viciously flying steel very nervously.
