"Go ahead," said the reincarnated princess.

The images flickered and slowed as the divergence was tracked down.

"Oh dear," said Sailor Mercury.

"What is it?" asked Sailor Moon, not recognizing the scene.

POOF! went Ranma and Genma.

"AHHHHH!" cried out Sailor Saturn. "What did you do?"

"The timestream was altered, a significant divergence," said Pluto, frowning. "We're Senshi and here at the Gate Of Time, without both those defenses, we'd have all been swept away as well."

"History was altered," said Sailor Mercury, her voice low as she stared at what the computer was telling her.

"What happened?" asked Sailor Moon, wondering what could have occurred. "When?"

• 1533 - Pizzaro was struck down by a stray blast before he could plunder the Inca civilization.
• 453 - Attila The Hun is healed of a nasal hemorraghe before he can choke to death in his sleep.
• 986 - Bjarni Herjulfson watches as lightning strikes his ship. Looks to him as though he's going to have to establish a colony here after all in what otherwise might one day be called Newfoundland.
• 198x - Usagi's mother is frightened by a near death experience (someone's magical attack hitting nearby) and uses a fertility drug to make sure she has a child. Usagi is born, but was now part of a multiple birth?
• some other calamity
