Usagi Tsukino was a relatively simple girl. Not to say that she was unintelligent, mind you, as she had a decent reserve of untapped brainpower. Rather, she was simple in that her method of living life was a simplistic one: Seek comfort, love, and delicious food, and destroy evil when necessary. Having been buried in the sand, largely ignored by her friends, and forced to watch horrific things be done to innocent ice cream, Usagi was now devoting all of her energy to the final part of her life's directive.
Deep within her soul, something shifted. The carefree girl/Moon Princess reincarnate/warrior of love and justice gave way to a being of blind vengeance. The power erupted forth from the depths of Sailor Moon's being. For the good of all. For the people of the Earth. For ice cream.
The gem on Sailor Moon's tiara began to glow with blinding intensity. This, to varying degrees of surprise to those present, was not enough to dislodge Sailor Jupiter from her Ranma face-suckery. The small dust devil created by the sand around Sailor Moon blasting outward was, if only because it physically knocked Jupiter back.
Sailor Moon floated upward, light pouring out of every square millimeter of her body. Sailor Mercury's attempts to check the Senshi of the Moon's power level made the Mercury Computer shut down to prevent an overload. Sailor Mars nervously fingered a few charms, but was too entranced by the light show to actually throw them. Jupiter was split between fear, awe, and resentment at being interrupted. Venus felt similarly, but her resentment was largely directed at Jupiter. Akane had managed to dislodge herself from the wreckage of the stand and had to revert to her normal state, lest the reflection off of her skin blind her. Even the Outer Senshi and Gojira stared at what was rapidly resembling a tiny star.
The Hulk eloquently summarized the situation: "Shiny."
Sailor Moon's eyes burst open, blazing orbs of righteous fury glowing with menace and lunar energy. Unlike most of her attacks, no device, no weapon manifested itself. Instead, she simply extended her arms and intoned:
"MOON FROZEN DAIRY VENDETTA!"
A sphere of energy erupted forth from her, enveloping the beach and a bit of ocean.
"Gah!" Sailor Pluto closed the Gate of Time, blocking the blinding light. After the spots faded, she reopened the Gate to approximately fifty seconds later. The devastating attack had faded. Now to see what remained...
