The sun was setting as the crowd of spectators stood outside the wall surrounding the governor’s mansion. The object, or objects, of their interest was the two people prostrated on their knees while their executioners stood over them. On the other side of the courtyard, the rather pathetic man of a governor stood there, demanding they beg for forgiveness and pretty much kiss his ass in order to have a chance for survival.
What caused this was a series of incidents the previous day. One of the prisoners had gotten in a fight at the local bar that the governor’s son hung out at and cut off the arm of one of the boy’s friends to save the life of a waitress named Fuu; who would then repay him with a rather large order of food that was on the house. The other guy had killed off the governor’s personal bodyguards for getting in his way at a street outside while on his way to aforementioned bar. There, the two of them got in a fight and ended up trapping the mayor’s son in the bar while it burned down. Worn out from trying to kill each other, the two of them were easy prey for the local police.
But contrary to what you’re probably thinking, these guys were not named Mugen and Jin. No, these stand-ins were far more interesting characters that would make the story so much more interesting than those two twits. They were…
