However, there did seem to be a more even mix of individuals in this group. One pair was obviously a couple, as the big dark skinned guy named Bob seemed to hover protectively next a slim girl with pointed ears and a fragile looking frame named Chiaki. Then there was the dragon girl, Aya, who managed to still look cute with her horns, wings and tail. That girl seemed to be attached to the blonde guy named Nagi, as she kept sticking close to his side. Her sister was named Maya, and that silver haired girl seemed to have some sort of rather controlled quality about her. And off by himself was some guy named Masataka, who looked rather relaxed in his tracksuit.
But he was looking forward to travelling with that bunch, as he thought that it would be great to have them along. They'd met when they'd been searching for their own way out of the danger zone, and meeting him and his group had done it. Now, with such fighters, he wouldn't be the only one who could be expected to fight off any trouble if it came their way. Plus, he'd get the added bonus of being able to be around other martial artists who didn't want to use him as some sort of punching bag.
Then again, he didn't know just what sort of people they were, and wasn't exactly aware of their power levels, so it would likely would be interesting to see how he stacked up against them. As he didn't know that they'd come from a school for no one save martial artists, he merely thought that they might be good at the Art. In fact, he was planning on finding an opportunity to spar with them at the first opportunity, while:
