Setsuna's Fault/Bastet's Pride: Needing A Goal [Episode 158382]

by Kender

From her position in her sempai's arms, Hotaru had been looking about for any sign of what would come next. From the various instances of having a 'dead scream' explode near them, to their ever changing locations, she wanted some sort of idea of how the situation was made up. If only she could get a clue as to what the attack would be like, she would be able to do something about it. A part of her just wanted to transform right then and attack, but she worried about such a shift in her situation would do.

And there was the concern of which of the 'Outers' were involved at the moment. So, she merely huddled close to him, and tried to not notice how her hands were clutching onto a shirt that was covering a firmly muscled chest that belonged to someone that she'd been having naughty thoughts about even before he'd changed.

But that was helped as she saw him leap to someplace really familiar. Even without any sight of written signs, she'd always recognize what this patch of ground was part of. Not only was it a place where she had gained a lot of happy memories, but this was most certainly a place of refuge for her and the young man with her. As he was already showing the effort of having to rush into using his new abilities before he'd gotten used to them, it was important that they get to safety soon. Fortunately, safety and help was likely only up the stairs that she could nearby.

Sailor Uranus had managed to set up a harness for the gun, and had slung it onto her back, so that her hands would be free if something happened to make it necessary for her to fight. She was pretty sure that wouldn't be the case, but she didn't want to take any chances. If that cat yoma had been as bad as Pluto seemed to think that he was, then there was a possibility that he'd have friends, and those guys might not like the idea of her stealing... snatching their weapon from his grasp.

Her main objective was to see about trying out this weapon to see how, and if it would work. It was one thing to be told that this thing would make guys into catgirl maids, but it was quite another to actually see it do so. Of course, if something untoward were to happen, she'd just have to talk to Sailor Moon about a fix.

At the moment though, she had boys to turn into feline female domestics.

It had been a bit of surprise for Pluto when she saw the city give way to grass and trees. There were plenty of parks around, so it wasn't exactly impossible, but she it wasn't quite the same as area where she'd had a bit of a groove going on. As a result, she'd been thrown a bit by the sight, though she'd gotten over it quickly.

But something in the back of her mind was bellowing at her that she knew this place, and that the recognition was important, but she couldn't figure out why that was the case. All that she knew was that she had to focus on the catboy in front of her and deal with him as she thought was going to be necessary. Anything that resulted from that could be fixed later.

"Am I hearing things, or are there explosions booming near us?" Makoto asked with a blink.

"It could be something innocent, right?" Usagi said weakly. "Maybe someone has their television on too loud."

Ami flipped open the Mercury computer and tapped a few keys. "No, they're real, and they're coming closer."

"Well then, there's only one thing to do," Minako chirped.

"Give them the proper greeting for those coming to the shrine," Rei growled, not pleased by the disruption of the calm of her home, while:
