Konatsu cared about Ukyo Kuojni deeply. To him, the okonomiyaki chef was a symbol of independence, strength, and pride as a martial artist and chef. Ukyo would stick to her goals and try to see them through until the end.
But now... Konatsu knew something horrible must have happened. Ukyo was now so withdrawn. To Konatsu it was apparent something happened to Ukyo that went against her beliefs. And Konatsu knew that it had to be around one thing.
"Ranma..." Konatsu groaned.
For as long as Konatsu has known Ukyo, Ranma has been the sun of Ukyo's universe. EVERYTHING revolved around Ranma. Be it with Ukyo's reason to get up in the morning to greet the day, to the image that Ukyo would go to sleep dreaming about, waiting for a day that the two of them could be together.
But now Ukyo was no longer cheerful. She was sluggish with her actions. Her eyes now seemed distant, as if Ukyo was either deep in thought, or seeing things that weren't there. Konatsu wanted to cry. Ukyo had become a shell of her former self.
And then Ranma had to come by. Ranma tried to talk to Ukyo, but couldn't do anything to snap Ukyo out of her funk. If anything, Ranma seemed to have given Ukyo even more reason to retreat into her mind. The proud okonomiyaki chef was now withdrawn most of the time.
Holding up a tanto, Konatsu breathed slowly and studied the blade. This was to be his weapon of choice. This would be the weapon that would bring all of Ukyo's suffering to an end.
This was the blade that would be used to behead Ranma.
After all, Ranma had become the center of Ukyo's universe, and he rejected her. It was time this 'sun' was snuffed, so that perhaps, Ukyo could find her light elsewhere. Maybe even with Konatsu himself.
"Hmm... This is really good. What is this Peorth?"
