The concert hall was not a place that one would ever consider 'rocking out' in. Those who were seated in the audience were all dressed in fine clothing, with no one acting out in any way. Everything was set for a show that was not anything less than high class.
Even the artist was showing that sort of grace and elegance as she stepped out onto the stage, violin and bow in hand. Her body was nicely shown off in the way that the satin dress was tight against her body, but there was no way that anyone could complain about its modest nature. It just made to show off her lovely figure, and those who appreciated it did so quietly, as the sound of her high heels echoed through the hall.
"Ladies and gentlemen.... Michelle Kaioh!" the announcer called out.
After taking a minute to bow to the crowd, Michelle brought her violin up, waited for but a moment... and then began to play, with the other musicians going right with her.
The fusion of classical and pop music just seemed to flow out in a wave of life and music.
It took Pluto a moment to realize that she'd closed her eyes, and been nodding her head to the music, but once she did, she shook it off. Not that she didn't understand the reason that she'd done it in the first place, as she'd always known that Michiru was a good musician. So, an opportunity to just enjoy the benefit concert was a pleasure that had drawn her into it.
But this girl wasn't the 'Michiru' that she knew. Instead, she was the daughter of Japanese Americans who'd themselves been born to immigrant parents. She'd been raised in New York, with its various influences and life, and had become a different person because of that. Growing up, she'd been a prodigy in the violin who'd wound up being offered a chance to go to either Juilliard or LaGuardia High School when she had the chance. People looked at her as something of a promising musician, which she more than fulfilled.
After all, she'd taken that talent and managed to use it to its fullest. By using an interest in experimentation, she'd started playing music that even had record companies interested. There was an album deal, and she was doing shows on her own, all before she had become sixteen.
Now, she was a rising star in that music scene, and was known to be 'going places' with her violin.
Pluto hoped that she could at least make it so that she'd play a concert in Tokyo, or something like that, as it was clear that she'd have to work to get someone with so much on their plate and people already out to approach her as well. Of course, she didn't need more problems in getting the Senshi back to Tokyo, but hopefully she could work around it.
