Sailor Moon looked at Luna and echoed, "Moon Princess?"
Luna nodded and explained, "You, Sailor Moon, are the leader of the Sailor Senshi. It's your responsibility to gather them together into a team." Luna looked away and added, "Although that shouldn't be difficult. Your ability to attract them is passive. They'll come to you."
Scratching her cheek, Sailor Moon asked, "But... if all Sailor Senshi are princesses, then wouldn't that make me the Moon Princess?"
"Allow me to elaborate then," Luna began, "Sailor Moon is the captain of the Sailor Senshi, but the Moon Princess is the ruler of the solar system... Well, so to speak, anyway."
Sailor Moon's face faulted and she mumbled, "I still don't get it--"
A sudden terrible feeling caused Sailor Moon to cut off. Luna was already looking off, as if she could see through walls.
"So they already know you've become aware," Luna said darkly.
Not really understanding what that feeling was about, Sailor Moon asked, "Who exactly are 'they'?"
It seemed that Luna was getting plenty tired explaining things. Who could blame her, but Sailor Moon was not exactly at fault. Taking in a very deep breath, she began the story, "Long ago there was a kingdom called Silver Millennium. That kingdom existed on the moon. That is where Queen Selenity lived.
"The Sailor Senshi were an elite force, sworn to protect the queen and the princess; however, there were those that wanted the power of the Silver Millenium.
"The self-proclaimed 'Queen' Beryl suddenly attacked the kingdom one night. There was still hope, however; using the last of her strength, she sent the souls of the Sailor Senshi and her daughter down to Earth to be reincarnated and restore the Silver Millenium.
"Those that came to steal the power of the Silver Millenium could not find it. That is because the true queen had many safeguards in place. She was not a fool. They continue to search for it--even now in this era.
"They call themselves 'the Dark Kingdom'."
Sailor Moon's eyes were dancing with the story and then she asked, "Am I really the reincarnation of a Sailor Senshi?"
Sighing, Luna admitted, "Yes... Even though it is a bit hard to believe."
