The fog blew in from the sea, as the dark clouds rolled forward from the desert combining into a storm of unnatural proportions. All throughout the town people scurried to get under cover, or huddled in their homes as lightning flashed overhead.
Down in the slums of Downwind a figure strode down the street, failing to notice the three beggars that flowed out of the shadows behind him. At least not until two make shift knifes were thrust into his back, while a brick was smashed upside his head. The beggars however did not get to enjoy there sudden windfall for long though. For just as they began to loot the body, the storm vented its wrath upon the town. A bolt of lightning flashed, unique in that it seemed to suck in all the surrounding light instead of illuminating the sky. When it had finished its path, naught remained of the four bodies but some ash drifting in the wind.
Uptown near the Bazaar in a hidden room a elderly woman cried out, grasping her gaudily colored shawl tightly as she gazed unseeingly into the cards laid out before her. Outside the room a S’danzo man stood guard, privately wondering what the elder had seen in her reading.

It was well past closing, but suggesting to this crew they leave out into a storm like that was just a invitation to get killed in all sorts of painful manners. So they sat and glowered instead.
Down by the docks the fisher folk had a different reaction. They grumbled and bemoaned how the weather was keeping them from there boats and livelihood. Wives and children took the time to work on much needed repairs for boots and nets, while Husbands sat double and triple checking old traps for flaws. All sat in silence hoping the storm passed before the tides let out.
In yet another room, blood red eyes looked out the window, noting how the lightning flashed pure black. A frown came across the female face, which suddenly shuddered and begin to twist as the figure quickly flipped up a cowl. The form shifting and shrinking, with black fish scales slowly appearing on hands that seemed to merge into three fingers.
After a second it was all over and the new form of Enas Yorl growled in a reptilian hiss. He pondered the glut of magic he sensed and what it meant for the future of both himself and the town.
And all through the night Sanctuary waited with baited breath to see what would happen once the fog and storm finished their battle for dominance. And as the sun rose, sending the weakened victor into oblivion, its rays revealed a scene new to the city. As the dawn broke, the morning light revealed…
