After school, Usagi quickly did her homework to get out of the way and headed over to her bed. She lay down on her bed and concentrated on the red crystal. A bit later, the ghostly form of Sailor Mars appeared in the room.
"How do I....?" Usagi trailed off.
First, relax. It's a bit harder to do it, if you push. Just let your mind wander for a bit.
Usagi took a few deep breaths and thought of various questions she wanted to ask. One came to mind real quickly.
What do you do inside of me?
That's exactly how to do it. Relax and then quickly focus on what you want to say and whom you want to say it to. You don't need to summon us to talk to us. As to your question, we split up and each set our homes down inside a section of your mind that we are closest to. Pluto for example lives in the area of your subconscious. Jupiter is living in the area that controls your muscles. If you'll allow her to, she'll have your body perform isometric exercises while you're asleep. It'll improve your physical shape
Usagi nodded, at Rei's look.
I'll let her know. We're acting as superior control over some of your involuntary body functions. When we're out, what we are watching over will be handled by your body's natural ability.
Usagi was about to concentrate on her next question when Mars shook her head. Instead, she let her mind wander again and let then focused on what she wanted to say.
It must be boring.
Mars tossed her head back and laughed. Usagi, we live in you and in your mind. We can wander around your subconscious or dreams to keep from getting bored. We know you inside and out.
Seeing Usagi blush, Rei shook her head. Don't worry about it. All of us have fantasies like that.
Usagi desperately tried to come up with a question to distract her from the fact that her Senshi knew her completely. Only one came to mind and she focussed on it.
How do you eat?
Remember the Doom Tree? It's your love for us that sustains us.
So, I have to keep loving you in order for you to get stronger?"
Rei shook her head. Your love keeps us alive. Our Senshi abilities are tied to yours. You have to get stronger in order for us to get stronger. Your ability to summon us has to improve dramatically. Right now, you can only summon one of us out at a time and the one you summon is an intangible ghost.
Oh. I'll try. I still don't know why you won't allow me to bring you all back.
Rei, despite being a ghost, sat down on the bed and looked Usagi in the eye. We have finally found a place where we can live in peace. You might not think it, but we are happy. We have found our paradise after merging with you. Our heaven is inside you.
Usagi blushed and looked away from Rei. Rei chuckled, as she stood up.
Remember Usagi, we need your love to live. You also don't need to summon one of us to this world to talk to us. Just relax and focus.
Usagi nodded and let her mind wander for a bit.
Mercury? Where are you living in my mind?
In your memory. My Mercury Computer is now attached directly to your mind and allows me to monitor your vitals.
Rei nodded as Usagi talked to Mercury. See? You don't need to bring one of us into this world to talk to us.
Usagi nodded as Rei faded away and the red gem dimmed.
Mercury. What happens if you set your computer to scan? What will it do to me?
I'm not sure.
Well, turn it on and let's find out
Streaks of blue light played across Usagi's eyes. She blinked and looked around.
"Whoa. That's weird," Usagi said, as she adjusted to what her vision now was.
Mercury? What's going on?
That's what my vision looked like when I'm using the Mercury visor.
Please turn it off. I don't understand it.
I do. While it's on, I can tell you what you are seeing.
Usagi breathed a sigh of relief as her vision returned to normal.
Thanks, Mercury. I'll take you up on that when I'm out and preparing the others for the battle with Galaxia.

"Practice time," Usagi said and concentrated on the purple gem.
Usagi nodded in satisfaction, as Sailor Saturn in her Mistress 9 body and wearing the Sailor Saturn sailor suit appeared in front of her. Saturn cast and inquiring look at Usagi, who just shook her head.
Saturn, what can you tell me about your younger self?
Sailor Saturn sat down on the bed and quickly related her early life about how she was ridiculed by her fellow students due to her frail health and healing abilities. As Saturn talked, Usagi started laying out a plan that might throw Setsuna off track. She would see if Hotaru was really being picked on and stop it if she could. She shook her head and tried stifling a yawn. Saturn cast an amused glance at Usagi.
I think you had better get some sleep. The telepathy is taking a bit out of you, as was manifesting Mars and I in such a short period of time
Tuck me in?
Saturn stared at Usagi. I'm a ghost, remember?
Try. Usagi sent with a lot of force.
Hearing the command, Saturn reached down and slowly moved the covers up to Usagi's neck. The blankets almost fell through the fingers of Saturn, but she managed to hold onto them. After tucking Usagi in, she looked down at her hands in a bit of shock. She looked back up at Usagi in confusion
That's why I brought you out. I want to manifest you all in this world as soon as possible.
Sailor Saturn smiled at Usagi and nodded, as she faded away.
I see. Because you and I are so close, you were able to give me a bit of tangibility first.
Usagi just smiled. Pluto? What's the dream for today?
There are a few choices right now. The one that seems really ready to go is that your are a giant robot and the rest of us pilot you. It appeared as you were talking to Mars. The other choices involve us being controlled in some way.
Run the giant robot one. Tomorrow, can you set up a dream where Mamoru and I switch roles? I can summon him or any of you like one of those genie stories and...
I'll start work on it as soon as you wake up. Mercury will remind you of your plan tomorrow. We all have some input in how to improve your plan. Jupiter will start the exercises, as soon as you fall asleep.
Usagi nodded and allowed herself to fall asleep.
