"Hah!" went a loud voice as a figure came out from a hidden spot.
That wasn't to say that she wouldn't fight, especially those she cared about, or wouldn't strike out in a panic.
So, the figure in the colored ninja suit slammed into her, and she shrieked with surprise and terror. But she also rolled off, and sent a wild shove at the figure. Had that been done on regular ground, the attacker would have merely landed in the dirt.
As it was next to where a depression in the ground had collected rain water, the results were... interesting. The figure smacked into a tree, bounced off, and fell into the water. And then a dead branch broke off the tree, and dropped straight onto the now wet, yet brightly attired, ninja type target.
"Yay! Maybe that was what Ranma wanted," Usagi chirped.
Sailor Mercury knew that she had some problems, and didn't know how to handle them. As things stood, she had trouble with her brother, her friends, and her own situation. This wasn't exactly the way that she wanted things to go, and she was fairly sure that she wouldn't be able to just use a few words to fix anything.
But she was fairly annoyed with her brother, given that she didn't exactly have an attack that actually would hurt someone, which kind of made it hard to target his targets.
She had to react though, as she had to do something when a figure rushed out at her. "Shabon Spray!"
The fog spread across the area, and made moving something like a straw dummy through the forest hard. Knowing this, she moved toward it to check it out, so that she could look over what her brother was using for this training exercise. However, she was certain that she'd done something to alert the one in charge of manipulating the dummy, as it had started stumbling around. Wanting to stop it, she rushed towards it, and sent several blows into its midsection. Then she pulled back just enough so that she could get a little momentum going when she slammed her shoulder into it to knock it down. That worked, and with one more punch from her, the figure went flying to crash into the ground.
When the fog cleared, Mercury was left standing by herself, and she realized what had happened. Looking down at her gloved hands, she remembered what she'd done with them. And that brought up something that she was fairly uncomfortable with admitting since it also made her feel even more guilty than she had before. "Maybe Mako-chan and Ranma did have a point about this...."
If there was anything that Sailor Mars was going to do with this exercise, it was that she was going to take it seriously. Target practice sounded pretty logical to her, and she wanted to prove that all this was worth it.
As a result, she was focused, under control, and ready to act as she walked around.
With that being the case she did notice a rustle of leaves before the form on the rope came swinging down at her.
"Fire Soul!"
She had aimed for the target itself, but wound up setting the rope on fire, which burned through rather quickly, and made it snap.
Instead of coming at her, the figure was sent flying over head to crash down somewhere nearby.
"Maybe I should watch it with the fire," Mars murmured to herself. This was a forest, after all, and she didn't want to cause a disaster.
Jupiter was frustrated, annoyed, and severely disappointed. She really liked Ami as a friend, but didn't like how Ami was behaving towards something so important in her life. However, she was also aware that she was finding Ranma more and more attractive as time went by, even though it would possibly cause a larger rift between her and his sister.
The kunoichi popped up behind her, ready to strike.
Too angry to be fancy, the Senshi spun on one heel and slammed her fist into the figure's face. She did get a bit of a surprise though, as it almost felt like there'd been a nose breaking under her knuckles. But as the now sprawled figure couldn't be anything more than a training dummy, she shrugged it off and walked away, while:
